Sea Kayak Guide

The Ketchikan Kayak Company specializes in 3 - 4 hour intimate, guided tours with a 6:1 guide to guest ratio. Our kayak guides must have previous guide experience and great communication skills. Our small numbers mean increased opportunity to actually connect with your guests which means more fun on tour for you instead of corralling large bus loads of people, while also increasing potential for tips. We're looking for guides with a strong work ethic who don't like to be micro managed, but also appreciate free time to enjoy the summer in Alaska. 40-50 hours per week, 5-6 days. Employee Housing options available. Must be here for training, set up and pre-season adventures by April, 16th 2025. Contracts end September 15th - 30th.

The Ketchikan Kayak Company offers 5 different, active excursions daily to cruise ship guests visiting Ketchikan, Alaska. Our guides enjoy Sea Kayaking, E-bike & Hiking tours and guided Zodiac Inflatable Boat tours on the ocean in Alaska's Inside Passage and Tongass National Forest.
