- Oversee the dish pit and kitchen cleanliness.
- Operate dish machine. Put clean dishes away.
- Maintain a regular cleaning schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment
- Dining room support; occasionally bussing tables and assisting with ice and restaurant supplies as needed.
- 1+ years' of dishwashing & kitchen janitorial experience
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Easy personality for everyone to get along with.
- Not afraid to have some fun while doing dishes!
Maintenance & Renovation
Lochsa Lodge has countless construction, renovation, and maintenance projects planned for 2024! From renovating employee housing, building new construction, and maintaining/repairing existing structures.
Work may include: painting/staining, roofing, carpentry, framing, decking, fencing, drywall, plumbing, painting, electrical, flooring, heavy equipment operation, and lots of handy-man style repairs & maintenance.
Hourly wage starts at $15/hr and up - wage is contingent on skills & experience. We offer meals from our restaurant at 50% off menu pricing, flexible full-time schedules, and cross-training/training.
Front Desk Clerk
The face and voice of Lochsa Lodge. Front Desk agents greet arriving guests, host/hostess for the restaurant, and cashier for the gift shop. Front Desk agents manage the incoming phones, daily guest arrivals/departure, coordinate with housekeeping, and inspect clean cabins prior to guest arrival. It's a great place to be! We also offer cross-training for Front Desk agents to do some restaurant server shifts, country store clerk shifts, and possible shifts in other departments.
Landscaper/Groundskeeper
Lochsa Lodge located on 19 heavily forested acres within the Clearwater National Forest. The lodge is a log building and most of our cabins are log constructed as well. There are countless groundskeeper tasks & responsibilities! From lawn mowing, irrigating, snow shoveling, leaf raking, gardening, planting trees & shrubs, flower baskets & planter boxes, cutting firewood, stocking firewood, bagging ice for the country store, and many other outdoor chores. If you love to be outside and independent, this is a great option for you.
Housekeeping & Laundry
Lochsa Lodge has 19 different cabins & lodge rooms. We stay very busy from Rafting season in early May through Hunting season in mid-October. Winter sports & snowmobiling season end of Dec to mid-March is also a busy seasonal option.
Housekeepers clean cabins, change linens & towels, vacuum, and perform other janitorial tasks around the lodge as needed. We have a great laundry facility with commercial grade washers & dryers. Work is full-time and we even offer shift meals from the lodge restaurant! It's a great place to work & live.
Line Cook / Prep Cook
Full time positions in our busy lodge kitchen. We focus on good old home cooked style lodge food with home made soups, burgers, steaks and pasta's. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days per week. Check out our current restaurant menus on our website: lochsalodge.com
We are looking for prep cooks & line cooks, plus a few helping hands with Dish & Cleaning. Full-time work! Pay rates vary based on skill & experience levels. Line & Prep cooks are also in a gratuity pool, in addition to hourly rate.
Restaurant Servers
Busy full service positions available for experienced servers. Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner shifts. Opening/Closing shifts. Excellent tip potential and a great place to meet amazing guests. We take pride in paying our servers $9.00/hr plus tips!
Store Clerk / Stock Person / Retail
Lochsa Lodge has a Sinclair Fuel Pump and a Country Store - with 2 possible shifts per day - 7 days a week! The store sells firewood, camping equipment, food, beverage, supplies, propane, bagged ice, basic hunting/fishing supplies, and we're an Idaho Fish & Game vendor selling licenses & tags.
Store clerk shift work, plus stocking & inventory merchandising. Possible cross-training and work in other departments as well to keep things interesting. If you love organizing & doing inventory, that'd be a great help as well. Customer service/cashier skills are required.
Dishwasher / Night Cleaner
The ideal candidate loves to get down & dirty with dishes until they're put away spot free & shining clean. This position is primarily dishwashing & cleaning nightly.
