We are looking for a motivated, hardworking individual that is willing to learn how to provide great, personable service in a fast-paced environment. The position's primary purpose is to deliver food and drinks to the tables allowing the server to spend more time engaging with tables, but it is not limited to only these responsibilities. The Server Assistant's other responsibilities include, but are not limited to offering drinks, conducting desert presentations, maintaining the overall appearance of the restaurant inside and outside, interacting with guests, serving as a mediator between the front of house and back of house, and assisting with both opening and closing side work. Extra overtime is offered assisting the BOH with prep work before opening and side work after the FOH side work is completed. As a small team it is important that all of the staff works in unison to ensure guest satisfaction. As a server assistant you will be an integral part of the team as you will carry many responsibilities. Good multitasking abilities, a positive attitude, and a smile are the most important qualities required for the position.

We opened in 2017 and have become TripAdvisor's number 5 restaurant in the USA in the everyday eats category. We serve authentic eastern European food in a semi-fine dining environment. We engage our guests in conversation and give them advice on how to better enjoy their vacation. We are open 5 days a week and operate with a minimal staff, so everyone works together as a team the entire summer. As owners we are working alongside you every day, Michael is the chef and Maja is the Hostess.

You are guaranteed 2 days a week off of work. Shifts are 8-12 hours a day, so you are guaranteed overtime. At the end of every service, we sit down together and eat a family meal that chef Michael prepares, and we discuss the events of the day. In 2022, we built cabins for employee housing. The Log cabins are double occupancy and have a full kitchen, very comfortable beds, and a full bathroom with an on-demand hot water heater / domestic heat propane boiler. There is a free laundry facility that is shared between 3 cabins. The cost of employee housing is $75 per week.

We are open from May 20th- September 20th, and staff are expected to arrive by May 15th, and should be prepared to stay until September 25th. Working in Denali comes with many benefits. Tours, excursions, and outdoor activities are available to seasonal staff for free or greatly discounted rates. We do background checks on our staff to ensure that we provide a comfortable and safe working environment.
