OPERATIONS MANAGER
Leadership
You’ll be a go-to person for multiple department leaders and their staff and be responsible for managing the park’s day-to-day operations. You'll lead by example in your work ethic, interactions with guests, and positive attitude in the face of problems.
Communication
We're looking for someone who can communicate well with anyone: guests, multiple department’s staff, and leadership. We’re a tiny but mighty team that can only make magic happen by working well together. When speaking to guests, we’re sticklers for grammar but want them to feel our bubbly personality.
Orders + Purchasing
The park is in a remote location making supply delivery slower than average. You'll help multiple departments with both daily ordering and monthly inventory.

KITCHEN MANAGER
At Ofland our primary goal is to do everything we can to make sure our guests have the most perfect experience possible, from the first bite of their breakfast burrito and beyond. This means that attention to detail and a hospitality-first mindset are non-negotiable qualities for our leadership team.
We are now hiring a full-time Kitchen Manager to lead our small culinary team at Ofland Escalante for the upcoming 2025 Season. Training for this position will begin in late February, as our season begins mid-March and ends late October.
The Gig
The Kitchen Manager reports directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for oversight of all aspects of our culinary services: breakfast and dinner shifts on our food truck, packaged grab-n-go options stocked in our General Store, as well as our complimentary coffee service every morning.
What does that look like? Here are some things you'll be doing:
Training and managing our small culinary team while working elbow to elbow with them on the food truck line and in our small prep kitchen.
Maintaining systems set in place and working collaboratively with the Culinary Director to continually improve those systems and adjust pars when necessary.
Placing weekly orders while maintaining budget costs and working directly with vendors when issues arise.
Responsible for staff training and upholding kitchen staff to kitchen procedures, processes, and recipes.
Performing consistent quality control inspections and providing constructive feedback to the team when necessary.
Responsible for all health and safety inspections and ensuring staff always follow all industry standard protocols, including following our HACCP Plan.
Communicating directly and promptly with our Engineering Manager and GM to submit work orders to resolve any kitchen or equipment issues immediately.
Working in a small space efficiently while maintaining order and cleanliness.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a standing position for 8-10hrs a day.
Willingness to work OT when necessary.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in culinary leadership/management roles.
Highschool Diploma/GED Equivalent
ServSafe Food Handler Manager certified

FRONT DESK MANAGER
We’re looking for a friendly go-getter to lead our first impressions team. The right candidate is passionate about creating meaningful guest experiences and is a great multitasker. We’re looking for a leader who can handle the everyday pressures of the job with a smile.
The Gig
Hard Work
We do more at our front desk than typical hotels. On the job you’ll check guests in and out, respond to emails, texts, and calls, keep the general store stocked and tidy, help guests with luggage on a golf cart, and more. Inspections
We’re very detail oriented and have seriously high standards for room and bathhouse inspections. Equipped with an inspection kit, you’ll make sure every room is crisp and clean for our guests. If you love to raise the bar, you’ll enjoy inspections.

ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR
The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for the park’s maintenance, repairs, basic upkeep of rooms, and landscaping. We're looking for a hard worker who wants to see the park succeed.
Leadership
In this role you’ll be a go-to person for park emergencies and support the engineering department’s daily operations. You'll be working side-by-side with the engineering and housekeeping teams and set an example through your work ethic, handywork in repairs, and positive attitude in the face of problems.

We're looking for someone who can communicate well with anyone: guests, the engineering team, other departments, and leadership. We’re a tiny but mighty team that can only make magic happen by working well together.
Park Maintenance
The 20-acre park requires a lot of hard work and attention to keep things running smoothly and looking good. A few things we do every day include pool maintenance, preventative maintenance, time-sensitive and guest facing repairs, firepit upkeep, and projects for other departments regarding issues and repairs. We're always trying to be better and have larger projects outside of daily operations to work on.
