Gondola Concierge

 Job Summary

The Gondola Concierge is responsible to provide professional and customer focused service and to ensure memorable guest experiences. They will work closely with the Recreation & Leisure team to ensure One&Only service standards exceed the guest expectations. The Gondola Concierge assists guest in loading and unloading equipment onto the gondola. They act as a liaison when the guest arrives and departs from the ski lodge, providing up to date information and direction.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Transport guest’s ski and snowboard equipment from rental shop and storage to snow

• Load and unload ski and snowboard equipment on and off the gondola

• Provide guest with directions from gondola to key locations such as ski lifts, ski school and guest services

• Be knowledgeable regarding current ski conditions and other resort activities/ amenities to properly answer any guest questions

• Provide with up-to-date condition reports and recommendations

• Act as an ambassador to the public to provide information on One&Only offerings

• Properly store guest and owner equipment at end of day

• To assist with any other duties that are required by Recreation & Leisure management or another member of the Hotel management team.

• To continuously collect feedback from guests and report it back to the Management

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

• Previous guest service experience

• Excellent Communication skills

• Workplace training from within a high standard hotel environment

• Knowledge of Big Sky Resort terrain and offerings preferred

• Experience in 5*, upmarket resort would be an advantage but not a requirement
