Job Summary
The Gondola Concierge is responsible to provide professional and customer focused service and to ensure memorable guest experiences. They will work closely with the Recreation & Leisure team to ensure One&Only service standards exceed the guest expectations. The Gondola Concierge assists guest in loading and unloading equipment onto the gondola. They act as a liaison when the guest arrives and departs from the ski lodge, providing up to date information and direction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Transport guest’s ski and snowboard equipment from rental shop and storage to snow
Load and unload ski and snowboard equipment on and off the gondola
Provide guest with directions from gondola to key locations such as ski lifts, ski school and guest services
Be knowledgeable regarding current ski conditions and other resort activities/ amenities to properly answer any guest questions
Provide with up-to-date condition reports and recommendations
Act as an ambassador to the public to provide information on One&Only offerings
Properly store guest and owner equipment at end of day
To assist with any other duties that are required by Recreation & Leisure management or another member of the Hotel management team.
To continuously collect feedback from guests and report it back to the Management
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
Previous guest service experience
Excellent Communication skills
Workplace training from within a high standard hotel environment
Knowledge of Big Sky Resort terrain and offerings preferred
Experience in 5*, upmarket resort would be an advantage but not a requirement
