Assist guests with all waterfront needs, including rental boat cleaning/orientation, fueling boats, cleaning fish, selling bait, and assisting with non-motorized vessels. Additional tasks include resort maintenance, including garbage collection, lawn care, and repairs/maintenance of cabins and equipment.
Boating and fishing experience is preferred for this position. This experience is helpful when advising guests regarding best fishing spots & techniques, cleaning fish, and instructing sailing and kayak techniques, among other situations. Experience in all of these areas is not a requirement.
Lodging is available if needed.
The actual hourly rate depends on lodging needs and experience. Wages are adjusted for experience. Resort season runs from early May to mid-October, with some flexibility regarding starting and end dates.
