Currently recruiting for the season that runs from May 11th, 2025 to October 2nd, 2025.

    Assistant Chef

    Antonito

    Among other things, duties include preparation and presentation of food, kitchen help, cleaning the prep area after meals and keeping the kitchen clean.  All staff may help with cleaning cabins and other duties on Saturdays (guest check-out day). Great work ethic and communication skills a must.

    Baker

    Antonito

    Preparation of breads, barn cookies, and desserts as well as general meal preparation, kitchen duties, as and kitchen cleaning.  All staff may help with cleaning cabins and other duties on Saturdays (guest check-out day). Great work ethic and communication skills a must.

     

    Buckaroo Counselor

    Responsible for our 3-5 year old guests.  Activities include being led on horseback so need to be comfortable around horses. Buckaroo Counselors need to be teachable, willing and able to make things fun for our youngest guests. All staff help with cleaning cabins and other duties on Saturdays (guest check-out day). Great work ethic and communication skills a must.

    Children's Counselor

    The Cowpoke Counselor is responsible for our 6-11-year-old guests while out on rides and during activities. Our counselors have to be able to ride with, guide, and teach a variety of ages how to ride to the best of their ability.  As well as being self-motivated and able to relate well to children, they need to make everything fun!  Experience with this age group and some level of riding and horse experience is important since the counselor is also a wrangler.  Candidates must be extremely teachable and willing to learn. All staff help with cleaning cabins and other duties on Saturdays (guest check-out day). Great work ethic and communication skills a must.

    Fly Fishing Guide/Maintenance

    Responsible for instructing and guiding guests on the river and instructing with trap shooting and archery.  Also part of  maintenance and groundskeeping, therefore basic knowledge of maintenance, tools and repair is important. Need to be willing to help in all areas of the ranch.  All staff may help with cleaning cabins and other duties on Saturdays (guest check-out day). 

    Great work ethic and communication skills a must.

    Housekeeper/Server

    Responsible for daily housekeeping of the guest cabins and regular turnover of cabins, as well as serving and cleaning up meals and other duties.  All staff help with cleaning cabins and other duties on Saturdays (guest check-out day). Great work ethic and communication skills a must.

    Maintenance

    Mechanic/Maintenance

    Antonito

    Responsible for basic maintenenace, servicing and other upkeep on all ranch vehicles + 4-wheelers, side-by-side, tractors etc. Ordering parts and keeping the shop organized and clean are a big part of the job. May also work ranch maintenance, guiding, trap/shooting/archery. Alll ranch staff may help with ranch turnover on Saturdays. Great work ethic and communication skills a must.

    Teen Counselor

    The Teen Counselor is responsible for our 12-17-year-old guests while out on rides and during activities. Our counselors have to be able to ride with, guide, and teach a variety of ages how to ride to the best of their ability.  They need to be self-motivated, relate well to teens, and be able to make everything fun!  Experience with this age group and some level of riding and horse experience is important since the counselor is also a wrangler. Candidates must be extremely teachable and willing to learn.  All staff help with cleaning cabins and other duties on Saturdays (guest check-out day). Great work ethic and communication skills a must.

    Wrangler

    Wranglers need to have a strong background in riding and excellent people skills. Main duties include care and maintenance of the horses and conducting guest rides of all levels, as well as helping in general work around the ranch as needed. Wranglers need to be very teachable and willing.  All staff help with cleaning cabins and other duties on Saturdays (guest check-out day). Great work ethic and communication skills a must.

We are looking for staff members with a strong work ethic and commitment to hard work, who have fun working with others, and who enjoy making sure that our guests have a great vacation. If you feel you are a good fit, please complete our short online application form.  Once we receive the application, we will contact you for an interview.         

And remember, even if you can't stay the whole summer, we can accommodate a certain amount of staff who have to leave in August due to college schedules. And we can also accommodate some who can't come until later in June, or even mid-August, but can stay until early October. We just want great staff - even if dates aren't perfect!  So contact us anyway and we can see what can be worked out.
