We seek adventurous souls to join our existing Zipline guide team at Royal Gorge Zipline Tours!

Embark on the Thrilling World of Zipline Guiding:

Picture a day filled with excitement, breathtaking landscapes, and the joy of guiding adventurers through the skies. Our Zipline center offers two distinct courses: the Classic and the Extreme.

Flexible Tours: From 8 am to 6 pm, our tours run every 30 minutes, providing a dynamic schedule for both guides and guests. With the freedom to operate year-round, our peak season, between Memorial Day and Labor Day, allows guides to lead up to 3 tours a day.

Dynamic Duos: Picture yourself alongside another guide, steering groups of up to 8 guests through the exhilarating courses. The Classic tour, boasting nine zip lines and a dual race line, takes around 2 hours, including ¾ mile of scenic hiking between lines.

Unleash the Extreme: For the daring souls, the Extreme tour features 11 zip lines, a dual race line, more intense hiking spanning ¾ mile, and concludes on a 70 ft. tower. Extreme guides take on the added thrill of facilitating guests' jumps using an arrest system and expertly lowering them to the ground. Brace yourself for an adventure that typically spans about 3 hours.

Wages:

Guides are compensated per tour and typically receive tips if you are a fun, engaging individual who enjoys leading people through epic adventures! Guides also have the opportunity to work extra hours as ground support, performing daily inspections, course maintenance, and/or serving as zipline course photographers.

Training:

We conduct our new guide training in-house, comprising classroom sessions and on-course practice. The training program is a 6-day/60-hour course. Upon successful completion, new guides are mandated to accompany a mentor guide on two tours before gaining the ability to lead tours independently. 

Canon City:

Canon City is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, providing many activities. Explore numerous local hikes, venture along over 100 miles of mountain biking trails, scale rock faces with thrilling climbing experiences, navigate the exhilarating waters through whitewater rafting, and indulge in abundant sightseeing opportunities.
