Whether our members are golfing, playing tennis, swimming, or dining, our staff is there to create an unforgettable experience.
The Employee Experience
Employees at Sankaty Head Golf Club have the unique privilege to both work and live at the Club. On-site housing is provided free of charge to all of our staff which creates a wonderful community in an unforgettable setting. Employees have the opportunity to engage with kind and interesting people everyday at the Club while improving their skills under the guidance of seasoned managers. Employees have the opportunity to work with staff from not just all across the country, but all around the world.

Room and Board
Free on site-housing is provided to all Sankaty Head Golf Club employees. Housing is dorm-style and with the option for a single room or a shared room (dependent on availability). There is no charge for housing, which includes complimentary laundry facilities, cable & wifi, along with communal kitchens/kitchenettes.
Employee Perks
Employee meal is served twice daily to all staff members (including on days off), free of charge. An end of season bonus is also available to those who complete their seasonal commitment. Staff has the opportunity to utilize the golf course during pre-determined staff hours. Gym equipment is available to staff members.
Getting Here and Getting Around
Transportation to the Island:
- Direct flights to the Island are available out of Boston, New York, Washington D.C. as well as others. Should you choose not to fly directly to the Island, the next nearest airport is Boston Logan. From Boston Logan, there is a bus that will bring you to the ferry terminal in Hyannis, MA. There you can take one of two ferries to the Island.
- Should you choose to bring your vehicle with you to the island, you can drive to Hyannis, MA and take the Steamship Authority car ferry to the island.
Transportation on the Island
- If you choose to bring your vehicle, there is parking available at employee housing.
- If you do not choose to bring a vehicle, there are plenty of other options for getting around the island! The Wave shuttle travels all over the Island daily for a $3 charge.
- Bicycles are a great mode of transportation on Nantucket! Scenic bike paths stretch the length of the island and are a beautiful way to explore. Bring your bike with you from home, pick one up when you get here or have one shipped! (The island is 14 miles long and 3 1/2 miles wide.)
For Fun
As a team member, during your time off you can enjoy relaxing at the beach, kayaking in the harbor, learning to surf or golf, hiking through the cranberry bogs, shopping the boutiques in town, and enjoying the Island's excellent culinary scene. Something for everyone to enjoy!
