Park Store Associate

Sequoia Parks Conservancy (SPC) is looking for dependable, professional, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Park Store Associates at the Giant Forest, Kings Canyon, and Lodgepole Visitor Centers. In this position, you will sell Conservancy merchandise, assist park visitors with information, and manage the retail sections of the Park Visitor Centers, all in accordance with Conservancy guidelines and procedures.

You must be available to work any day, including weekends and holidays, and may be required to be on your feet for up to eight hours daily. This position works primarily indoors.

You must work well with your coworkers, the public, and agency partners to succeed in this role.

Applicants should be available to work from March 2025 through November 2025, although some positions may start later or end earlier.  Suitable applicants with longer availability will be given priority. 

Housing Availability: In-park housing is available only for positions in the Giant Forest or Lodgepole Visitor Centers. It is not available for positions in the Kings Canyon Visitor Center.

Minimum Requirements: Prior retail experience and cash-handling experience. Applicants with previous retail work in a National Park may be given priority.

Starting Salary: $16.50 per hour
