Park Store Supervisor

Sequoia Parks Conservancy (SPC) seeks a reliable, professional, and conscientious person to join our team as a Park Store Supervisor. In this role, you will assist with daily operations in the Park Visitor Center Store's retail sections within Sequoia National Park. This role is responsible for welcoming visitors from around the world, providing accurate information, connecting visitors to educational opportunities, and providing a quality retail experience. The Supervisor works with the retail team to provide training, positive reinforcement, and direction, particularly in the Store Manager's absence.

You must be available to work any day, including weekends and holidays, and may be required to be on your feet for up to eight hours a day. This position works primarily indoors.

You must work well with your coworkers, the public, and agency partners to succeed in this role.

Must be available to work from March 2025 through November 2025

Housing Availability: In-park housing is available for positions in the Giant Forest or Lodgepole Visitor Centers.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Ability to multi-task, learn new skills quickly, troubleshoot, and solve problems.

• Retail abilities include:

  • Accurate cash handling, ordering stock from the warehouse, employee training, salesmanship, and merchandising.

Starting Salary: $18.25 per hour

Required Experience:

• Retail sales: minimum 2 years (Required)

• Supervisory experience: minimum 2 years (Required)
