Winter Caretaker/Cook

Winter Caretaker/Cook - Seasonal - Glacier View, Alaska.  

Full-Time;  - November 2024 thru May 2025 (potential for earlier start and/or longer season)

What you Bring to the Team:

• Ability to work independently

• Maintain and administer an organized kitchen

• 2 years kitchen experience required

• Comfortable with the challenge of remote Alaskan winter experience

• Maintenance exp. or handyman exp. would be great

• Hotel Reservation software exp. a big plus+

The Daily Work:

• 5 to 6 day 35-40 hour work weeks 

• Prepare and deliver breakfast and dinner for cabin guests via our online ordering system

• Snow removal from walkways and cabin porches 

• Work autonomously, but ask for help when needed

• Daily housekeeping and cleaning tasks

• Small maintenance tasks as needed

• A typical week is working from 7:30-10:30am and 5:00-8:00pm, 5 or 6 days a week - adjustments may be made to this as neccessary.
