Operations
Floater
Seeking a Jack/Jill of All Trades, AKA a Floater. If you are someone who enjoys doing something new every day, if you are flexible and detail oriented, and you like to split your time between front of the house and back, then being a floater at Silver City Mountain Resort might be the fit for you! Your duties will vary between working the front desk, managing gift-shop inventory and stocking merchandise, assisting servers with bussing the tables on busy nights, and helping the housekeepers on heavy check-out days. It's a job for a human chameleon, someone who likes to move around and be the glue that keeps everyone together!
Goal: To be a swiss-army knife on staff, assisting various departments in ensuring the resort runs smoothly and efficiently.
Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, an eye for details, a good work ethic, a problem-solver, and an ability to be flexible and go where needed without complaint. You must have a strong work ethic, and a deep desire to be in the outdoors.
Experience: Desired, but not required for the right candidate
Housekeeper
Calling Chaos Control, AKA Housekeepers! Do you need a safe outlet for your OCD? Are you detail-oriented and perceptive about the little things that visually make a difference? Are you a go-getter, able to make magic happen in a short amount of time? You may be perfect for housekeeping!
Goal: The housekeeper is the gatekeeper to the customer experience- what guests first see sets the tone of their stay. We want our housekeepers to have an eye for design and visual consistency, to be motivated by cleanliness, and to be able to work independently and quickly when needed. It isn't for the faint of heart, but it is for the bad-ass.
Skills required: Basic cleaning skills, self-motivated, works well independently, neat and organized, good attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and work in a quick, efficient manner. You must have a strong work ethic, be low drama, and enjoy the outdoors!
Line Cook
Seeking Masters of Flavor, AKA Line Cooks! Are you a natural leader, but get bored easily? Have you always loved working in fast-paced, high-energy environments? Does the sound of working in a high-elevation kitchen with a kick-ass team and getting to flex your creative muscles pique your interest? You might want to consider being a line cook at Silver City Mountain Resort! Our kitchen is "tiny but mighty" and everyone must work together to get the job done- that means you may be prepping food, cooking on the line, or executing a special for the evening service.
Goal: To prepare and execute delicious culinary experiences for our guests, to keep the kitchen staff motivated and excited to work, to work closely with the head cook to keep the kitchen functioning well, and to keep the kitchen in tip-top shape.
Skills required: Natural leadership skills, basic cooking skills, kitchen management, food prep and storage, kitchen sanitation and safety, consistent food quality control, a keen eye to detail, good work ethic, works well under pressure, and a team player. Has high energy, is a self-starter, and has an ability to get the servers excited about what is on the plate. The cook sets the tone of the kitchen, and we like to have as much fun as possible- even if we are pushed in a rush! You must have a strong work ethic, be low drama, and enjoy the outdoors!

Server
Now hiring Managers of Joy, AKA Servers! Do you love to make people happy? Are you a team player, with a need for speed (fast-paced work environment, that is), are you able to multi-task and get things done with a smile on your face? Do you dream about serving food under the Giant Sequoias? Look no further than serving at Silver City Mountain Resort!
Goal: To curate the best guest experience and cultivate the mountain spirit! Servers are often the people guests interact with the most, and we want to make sure it's a good experience for them! Servers must have a love for people and a desire to work hard, they must be ready for challenges every day!
Skills required: phenomenal people skills, excellent communicator, proficient and knowledgeable in kitchen/restaurant safety, very good at prioritizing and multi-tasking, works well under stress, can vocalize and prioritize team needs, has a love for interacting with the general public. Experience required. You must have a strong work ethic, be low drama, and enjoy being in the outdoors!
