    • This is a Full Time Year Round Position

    In this role, you'll oversee safety protocols, manage risk assessments, and ensure compliance with regulations. Lead initiatives to maintain a safe and secure environment for both guests and staff.

    Job Responsibilities:

     

    • Identify and address safety risks across resort units.

    • Facilitate safety training and manage incident investigations.

    • Develop and administer safety and wellness programs.

    • Implement and maintain OSHA-required safety programs.

    • Promote slope and trail safety through active participation and feedback.

    • Observe and provide safety feedback on resort activities.

    • Handle guest safety concerns and manage safety policies.

    • Collaborate on claims and safety initiatives with Risk Coordinator and Director.

    • Lead the Safety Committee and conduct various safety trainings.

    • Ensure regulatory compliance and manage safety metrics.

    • Oversee PPE procurement and maintain safety databases.

    • Participate in management and Risk Management meetings.

    • Assist with contracts, improve guest satisfaction, and monitor Risk Coordinator’s performance.

     

    Education:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree  (preferably in environmental health and safety) or 10 years of experience preferred.

     

    Driving:

     

    • Have a valid Driver’s license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program

     

    Preferred Experience:

     

    • Prior experience in a safety related field preferred

    • Knowledge of SDS and OSHA requirements (OSHA 10/30 preferred).

    • Clear and professional communication (verbal and written).

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

    • Solution-oriented, with high integrity and confidentiality.

    • Professional appearance and adherence to grooming guidelines.

    • Organized and able to handle high-pressure situations.

    Transportation

    Transportation Lead Supervisor

    $23.41 / hour
    Snowshoe

    • Pay: $23.41 per hour

    • Start Date: November

    • This is a Flex Position Flex position for 9-11 months per year; you can use your off months to travel or visit friends and family!

    • Schedule: Will require working early mornings, weekends, and holidays

    Job Responsibilities:

     

    Operational Planning & Management:

    • Recruit, interview, hire, and train drivers.

    • Schedule, supervise, and address issues with department staff.

    • Conduct daily briefings with drivers and adjust routes as needed.

    • Use radios effectively, ensuring adherence to routes and guidelines.

    • Communicate daily with the Transportation Manager regarding scheduling changes and operational adjustments.

    • Maintain transportation facilities, including bus lots and wash bays.

    Documentation & Compliance:

    • Ensure adherence to DOT rules and FMCSA regulations.

    • Maintain accurate DOT files, including physicals and driver qualifications.

    • Conduct and document random drug and alcohol tests.

    • Provide mandatory DOT training and keep detailed maintenance records.

    Safety & Training:

    • Deliver 80 hours of classroom and 50 hours of skills training for new CDL students.

    • Keep drivers informed with up-to-date information and materials.

    • Assemble driver clipboards with essential updates.

    Supervision & Support:

    • Oversee repairs and maintenance, ensuring buses and safety equipment are in top condition.

    • Manage department social media for schedule and route updates.

    • Supervise and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and hours of service.

     

    Driving:

     

    • Have a valid Driver’s license and ability to pass the Snowshoe Driving Program

     

    Education:

     

    • High School Diploma or GED

     

    Preferred Experience:

     

    • 3 years DOT/FMCSA or related experience

    • Previous supervisory experience

    • Current computer knowledge

    Lift Ops

    Lift Attendant

    $15.00 / hour
    Snowshoe

    • Pay: $15 per hour

    • Start Date: Mid-November to Mid-December with positions available throughout the season.

    • Seasonal: This position is available from Mid-November to Late March, aligning with our winter ski and summer bike seasons. Seasonal work involves temporary employment tied to specific times of the year

    • Schedule: May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

    • If you want to be at Snowshoe this winter this is one position with the most openings available!

    Job Responsibilities:

     

    • Ensure guests have proper tickets and safety equipment.

    • Assist guests on and off lifts with verbal guidance and chair management.

    • Monitor guest actions, anticipate issues, and operate lift controls as needed.

    • Answer questions and maintain a positive, friendly attitude.

    • Keep the lift area and surrounding areas clean, including shoveling snow and checking ticket validity.

    • Test lift controls and safety switches, and perform daily equipment checks.

    • Document all required actions and report unusual conditions to supervisors or mechanics.

    • Assist with lift maintenance and collect litter as needed.

    • Perform additional duties as assigned.

     

    Education:

     

    • High School Diploma or GED

    Server

    • Schedule: May require working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

    Job Responsibilities:

     

    • Provide excellent guest service by taking orders, delivering food and drinks in a timely manner

    • Recommend dining options by being knowledgeable of menu and special offerings

    • Assist team in keeping service stations stocked and clean

    • Provide information to guests by being knowledgeable of the resort

    • Verify guest are of legal age before serving alcohol by asking for identification

    • Ensures proper distribution of revenue by balancing bank and performing closeout reports at end of shift

     

    Education:

     

    • High School Diploma or GED

     

    Preferred Experience:

     

    • Previous restaurant experience
