Food Service Supervisor

The person who takes this position will be responsible for assisting with overseeing the operations of the Dining Room and the staff. The Supervisor intern will gain experience on both the operational and administrative side of club dining by assisting with managing the floor as well as completing daily food and beverage/event reports and paperwork. This is a hands-on opportunity in which one is expected to jump in and assist the team throughout each service. The person who takes this position will also work to make special events a success, assisting the management team with training, scheduling, ordering, member billing and clubhouse opening/closing procedures.

Extensive opportunities and training sessions will allow the Intern to expand his/her understanding and experience in the following: member services, Dining Room and Clubhouse daily operational procedures, on-the-job problem solving, wine knowledge, menu comprehension, point-of-sale, event planning, setup and break down of event production, delegation and leadership, proper food handling and safety protocols.
