Steamboat Inn is located on Hwy 138, also known as the highway of waterfalls, 38 miles east of Roseburg. We are approximately 2 hours from Eugene, Bend or Medford and four hours from Portland. Our property consists of three separate sections - The main inn, library, cabins and suites right off the highway, the Hideaway Cottages tucked in the woods up Steamboat Creek Road, and the Campwater and staff houses across Mott Bridge along the other bank of the river.

Steamboat Inn is located in the middle of 31 miles of fly-fishing only Wild and Scenic Designated water on the North Umpqua River which is also known to many as The Emerald Jewel. It boast more rapids per mile than other local rivers including numerous class II and III rapids. The pristine scenery and unique geologic formations can't be topped. We are right on the river, surrounded by beautiful forest, and near waterfalls, a hot springs, hiking trails, lakes, and Crater Lake National Park.

Housekeeping Manager 

We are looking for a very clean and organized person with leadership experience to manage our housekeeping team. 40 hours a week. No cost housing. Cash tips daily and house tip bonus.  Must be at least 25 and have a valid drivers license (insurance requirements as you must be able to drive a company vehicle). 

Steamboat Inn has been a beloved destination since 1957. Located on a bluff overlooking a dramatic stretch of the North Umpqua River, guests enjoy the amazing views, delicious meals, and friendly service creating a magical experience. Be a part of creating those special memories! Join an excellent team in an ideal location. Paydays are on the 5th and 20th of every month with hourly rate to be discussed based on position. Additionally, the staff also receives a share of cash tips at the end of each shift they work PLUS a portion of house tips on their paychecks (rate based on hours - usually $1.50-$3.00 per hour additional). We open for the season March 7th and close November 30.  Staff housing opens two week before the season begins. Staff houses are shared homes with private bedrooms. There is NO COST for staff housing. Couples are welcome as long as they both work for Steamboat Inn.

All applicants MUST have a vehicle. Pets are not allowed in staff housing. US applicants only.
