Camp Counselors

The Sun Valley Resort Winter Camp Counselor is responsible for the guest experience's daily operations and the stables office's organization. The Winter Camp Counselor is also accountable for maintaining a professional, safe, and positive work environment and helps with snowshoeing, ice skating, sledding, nature adventures,  scavenger hunts, and bowling. Holiday Seasonal Part-Time. This position will be working with children ages 2-5.

Duties & Responsibilities:   

• Responsible for all assigned children's health, personal care needs, safety, and general welfare

• Responsible for assisting in planning and implementing daily activities with management and co-workers to meet the needs and interests of the group

• Be active in all camp activities with encouragement and positive reinforcement

• Ensure a fun and safe experience for all the attendees

• Maintain a clean environment for children to engage in activities

• Other duties as assigned by the manager  

  Qualifications:    

• Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds

• A current U.S. driver's license is required

• Be proficient with basic operating systems and programs, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Hospitality experience or training 

• A hospitality education degree is preferred

• Physically and emotionally strong, mentally alert, creative, and flexible
