Overnight Front Desk Clerk

The Overnight Front Desk Clerk will balance daily operational activities to prepare accounting summary reports. This position works the overnight shift from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., allowing you to ski or enjoy the days in Sun Valley.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Balance daily operational activities 

• Prepare accounting summary reports

• Check guests in and out of the hotel

• Accommodate guests’ before/during/after their stay; assist with guest opportunities

• Answer phones, assisting guests, and transfer as needed

• Be familiar with the resort and all its properties

• Complete overnight checklists

• Knowledge of resort and local events

• The front desk is open 24 hours a day and requires that employees keep a flexible schedule to cover all shifts

• Prepare guest key envelopes

• Serve as a liaison between departments

• Other tasks to be assigned

Qualifications: 

• Possess a good working understanding of the basic Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, particularly in the hospitality/ resort setting

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent with additional academic training in related fields or equivalent experience

• Able to perform 10-Key by touch
