JOB SUMMARY

Maintain cleanliness standards of the hotels in all guest rooms and public areas.

JOB DUTIES

• Clean up hotels to standards in all areas.
• Effectively work to accomplish assigned tasks each day including, but not limited to:
  • Room cleaning.
  • Strip bed gather dirty linen and terry.
  • Remove dirty linen and trash.
  • Clean high level and awkward areas.
  • Stock rooms appropriately following department procedure.
  • Upkeep all housekeeping storage areas.
  • Move furniture around during deep cleaning.
• Work in a safe manner to prevent injury to yourself, other staff members or our valued guests.
• Communicate to Supervisor or Manager when recovering all lost and found items.
• Watch for safety hazards and report them immediately to your Supervisor.
• Follow general housekeeping procedures and policies without supervision, for example, but not limited to:
  • Keep caddies organized.
  • Maintain tools appropriately.
  • Opening and closing check lists.
  • Follow proper procedure when filling spray bottles with cleaning chemicals.
  • Never mix chemicals.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of maid closets, guest laundry areas and corridors.
• Follow instructions given at each morning meeting.
• Support the Hotel Terra & Teton Mountain Lodge environmental commitments by having the knowledge, skills and values to be a leader in the global goal of “greening” the hospitality industry

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to give and receive information clearly.
• Detail oriented as it pertains to accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexible availability to weekly schedule.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lifting and carrying 30 - 60lbs.
• Walking or standing.
• Bending.
• Lifting.
• Kneeling.
• Pushing.
