EXPO Position Back of House:  

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct yourself in a friendly, energetic, and patient

• Act as a positive member of the Back of House team

• Always present yourself in a clean and professional manner

• Maintain a calm demeanor in a high volume environment

• Effectively communicate with many people at the same time

• Know all table numbers and floor plans

• Assist in quickly and efficiently deliver all food and additional items to the guest when possible

• Communicate effectively with managers, kitchen staff, and serving staff

• Verify that all ordered items are prepared properly, including temperatures, modifiers, and any other special orders, according to Boardwalk Standards

• Ensure that all courses are delivered to the table within proper timing parameters and in accordance with how the server intended

•  Keep track of ticket times and inform management on regular basis

Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred

• Must be 19 years of age or older

• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)

• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor

• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time

• Be able to carry large trays of food for long periods of time

• Be able to work in an indoor or outdoor setting during Ohio’s summer months

• Fulfill commitment to START and END dates, along with September and October WEEKENDS.
