Prep Cook

Join our team for the 2025 Guest Season starting March 30 through the first week of November 2025.

The Hideout Lodge &Guest Ranch located in Shell, Wyoming – east of Cody and Yellowstone National Park is mostly adult oriented, small upscale guest ranch limited to around 25 guests weekly. We are looking for a Prep Cook to join our 2025 team. Our ideal candidate is experienced, a self-starter, team player, honest with a lot of integrity, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

• Assist and help our chef to prepare all meals

• Prepare and set out ingredients to be used throughout the day

• Label, stock and inventory all ingredients

• Follow recipes and prepare dishes

• Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking

• Help prepare and clean-up kitchen

• Maintain kitchen and dining area cleanliness and organization

• Wash dishes when necessary

Qualifications

• Experience working as prep cook or similar role

• Great attention to detail

• Ability to multitask effectively

• Good verbal communication skills

• Work well independently as a part of high functioning team
  

About The Hideout Lodge & Guest Ranch

The Hideout Lodge and Guest Ranch is an all-inclusive, upscale riding and horsemanship guest ranch limited to approx. 25 guests weekly with a 6-night stay.
