The Oasis operates the historic AAA Four Diamond Inn and Ranch, restaurants, gift shops, and the world's lowest-elevation golf course. Both hotels have swimming pools fed by naturally warm local springs and open year-round.
We’re hiring a Golf Cart Mechanic to Live. Work. Explore. in Death Valley National Park!
Job Summary:
Oversee the daily golf cart program, including routine maintenance of golf carts, repairs, morning set-up, retrieval, cleaning, and maintenance.
The Details:
Position Type: Year-Round
Start Dates: January 2025
Pay: $21.15
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities:
Maintain a routine maintenance program for all revenue golf carts.
Perform golf cart repairs.
Move, inspect, charge, and wash golf carts.
Routinely detail all golf carts.
Keep accurate and current repair and maintenance records.
Prepare part requisition reports.
Maintain a clean yard, shop, pro shop and driving range.
Must demonstrate professional and courteous behavior with all guests and employees.
Qualifications:
Able to follow instructions with follow-up, respect, and integrity.
Able to lead and guide staff members with respect and accountability. (For Manager, Supervisor, leader roles, etc.)
Able to provide quick and productive solutions to many challenges and/or limited resources.
Able to use sound judgment to assess team needs that drive immediate results (for Manager, Supervisor, leader roles, etc.).
Ability to demonstrate urgency around deadlines, guest experience, and the Oasis at Death Valley branding.
Physical Requirements
Constantly listening, hearing, seeing, standing, walking, using eye/hand coordination, handling, wrist motion.
Frequently walk and lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
Occasionally sit, handle, reach outward, reach above shoulder, squat, or kneel, lift/carry, and push or pull up to 100 lbs.
Will be required to stand for long periods and occasionally walk up flights of stairs.
Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
Driving Company-owned Vehicles
Company vehicles may include golf and utility cars and passenger vehicles.
To be considered for this role, employees must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license, or international permit, and must not have three or more moving violations within the last twelve months.
Employees on temporary permits or probationary licenses will not be allowed to drive company vehicles.
Drivers may need to lift heavy objects and load them into their vehicles, requiring upper body strength and physical stamina.
A minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50) is required.
The company reserves the right to periodically check the driving records of all operators of company-owned, rented, or leased vehicles to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
