Tikchik Narrows Lodge is seeking an experienced mechanic for the summer of 2025. This is a remote seasonal job in the most spectacular setting in Alaska. This job requires extensive experience with outboard motors, both jet and propeller-driven, of various makes, models, and horsepower. Knowledge of diesel generators is a bonus, as the lodge has 40 KW diesel generators that run all summer. General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry is a plus.
Tikchik Narrows pays for your travel from your home to the lodge and back at the end of the season. All your accommodations and meals are provided for the duration of the summer. The tips are generous.
