Our expert staff and guides make the guest experience exceptional and help to get the most out of our many Green and White Season adventures.  Our goal is to inspire our guests to indulge in everything the Ranch has to offer, including horseback riding, fly fishing, personalized Grand Teton and Yellowstone tours, Nordic skiing, snowmobiling, and fat biking.  With picturesque views fit for an Ansel Adams catalog and luxurious private accommodations, adventure awaits all at Turpin Meadow Ranch.

Working at Turpin Meadow Ranch is a very fulfilling experience.  Our single goal is to provide the best possible guest experiences for each and every one of our clients.  No one position or department is any more or less important than another.  Whether washing dishes or wrangling horses, everything we do here matters.

We work as a team and every staff person is and should be willing to help anywhere needed at any time.  We all help support each other when needed.

The work is not hard but we all work very hard.  Days can be long but in the end, when you see a guest having the experience of a lifetime it's all worth it.

Turpin Meadow Ranch positions are considered full-time seasonal.  Workweeks are based on 5 days and workdays are scheduled for 10 hours.  Each staff person is provided 2 days off and if additional days are worked, the staff is compensated accordingly.

Ideal Candidate

Is this you?:

Our ideal candidates love the outdoors and have hospitality in mind no matter what duty is being completed. Guest service and satisfaction are paramount. Though we have a lot of fun at Turpin Meadow Ranch, we are looking for the most talented and professional individuals. We require that candidates be 18 years of age or older and possess positive characteristics. We are looking for healthy individuals who pay attention to their personal hygiene and appearance. Please, no smokers as we are a smoke-free campus.

We are looking for responsible individuals who are respectful of themselves, others, animals, and property. It is important that our employees are flexible and can take direction while maintaining a joyful spirit. Attention to detail is a must, ideally, our employees can see what needs to be done without being asked. Our team members need to have positive attitudes and strong work ethics, everyone is expected to be willing and happy to lend a helping hand when needed. It is key that our employees can be happy in a remote area with limited cell phone service, if this is a concern please discuss it during the interview process.

Turpin Meadow Staff is the key to the success of our Ranch.  Time and time again our guests mention the staff by name in our 5 Star reviews.  A positive guest experience can directly result in a higher income for our staff.  Everyone works as a team to see that our guests have the best Wyoming Ranch experience possible.

Room and Board

Turpin Meadow Ranch provides on-property housing for all staff at no charge.  Housing is considered bunk style, meaning typically everyone has a roommate.  The housing includes access to a community kitchen in each building and a staff laundry facility is also provided on the property.

Employee Perks

All ranch staff receives a portion of shared gratuities via a very robust Camp Tip Program.  Guests contribute to a Ranch Gratuity based on their experience at the Ranch.  This gratuity is then collected over the season and distributed equally to all the staff at the end of each season.  Because you, as part of the ranch staff can directly impact your income buy assuring every guest has the best time possible, you will find everyone on the team has a common goal.

Staff also have access to the ranch amenities.  As a part of the Turpin Meadow Winter Team, you will have access to all that the ranch has to offer.  We provide opportunities for staff to participate in all the activities offered including fishing, horseback riding, fat tire biking, hiking and many other activities at the ranch.  We offer special employee discounts on retail items and food from the restaurant.  We also work with several vendors throughout the area that provide special consideration for Turpin Meadow Staff on their services.

Getting Here and Getting Around

You will be expected to arrive in Jackson Hole by your own means. Jackson Hole does have an airport, though it is strongly recommended that you have your own means of reliable transportation so that you can explore the nearby national parks and get into the town of Jackson on your own. The ranch does not provide regular employee shuttles.

Navigation systems and GPS units may provide inaccurate information, so it's a good idea to print and prepare your driving directions beforehand. If you have any questions about closed roads or general directions, please call us before you begin your journey to the ranch. Cell phone reception can be limited in many nearby areas and through many parts of Wyoming.

For Fun

If you are an outdoor enthusiast Turpin Meadow Ranch is the place for you!

With stunning views of the Tetons out the front door and Wyoming’s second-largest Wilderness Area out the back door, there is never a moment of dullness. Turpin Meadow is 15 miles from the entrance of Grand Teton National Park and 40 miles to the south boundary entrance of Yellowstone National Park. With three National Forest trail-heads within walking distance, you will quickly be on your way to exploring the backcountry.

There is world-class skiing, fat tire biking, snowmobiling, climbing, hiking, and camping in Jackson Hole. Multi-sport days are a regular thing around these parts, it is not unheard of to ski, bike, and snowmobile all on the same day. By night enjoy a campfire with some good friends. The ranch is located only an hour away from the town of Jackson.

Staff is encouraged to take advantage of everything the ranch and the surrounding area have to offer.  We work, live and play together.  We want our staff to have the same experiences our guests do.
