    Summary

    As a Line Cook, you are an integral part of our food and beverage program. You will work with other Back of the House team members to deliver on culinary standards in our live fire kitchens. Working in various stations including grill, sauté, fry, prep, pantry, outdoor pop-up dining experiences, and providing support to the overall operation makes you the heart of the operation. You will keep our guests and team members safe by following food safety and sanitation protocols. Your goal is to work as a team to push out quality dishes to create memorable dining experiences.     Front of House Lead

    Summary 

    As Food & Beverage Front of House Lead, you will support the Food and Beverage operation through leadership of the front of house team and completing delegated administrative tasks. You will ensure service, brand, and food safety standards are implemented and followed. You will work in the roles of cashier, food runner, barista, bartender, and expeditor. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment. 

     

    Responsibilities 

    • Expertly execute all front of house tasks and train team on best practices of the operation with a focus on exceptional guest service 

    • Actively maintain guest and team member safety by ensuring all food handling safety and storages protocols and SOPs are implemented and tracked on logs 

    • Ensure a clean and safe workspace through completion of daily and weekly cleaning/deep cleaning checklists tasks 

    • Maintain neat, organized, and safely stored work and storage areas where FIFO is practice 

    • Assist with all inventory practices including ordering, receiving, waste tracking, setting up count sheets, and completing physical inventory counts

    Summary

    Our Facility Supervisors take pride in ensuring our glamping locations are operational, safe, functional, and well-maintained so that our guests can fully utilize and enjoy our amenities, tents, and common areas. Situated just minutes away from the country’s most popular national parks, our locations range in size from 40-100 glamping tents, many of which have their own showers, toilets, and wood burning stoves. Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager who leads the department, you are an on-site maintenance expert, helping to oversee, train, and perform maintenance tasks along with the Facilities Team. This is a full-time, seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

    Summary

    Fresh air, nature, and clean linens! This is a unique opportunity to work outdoors in some of the country’s most popular national parks. As a Laundry Attendant, you play a critical role in what makes Under Canvas so unique, providing our guests with crisp linens and fresh towels as they sleep under the stars. Reporting to a Laundry Supervisor, you will work with a team of peers to clean and restock linens for a camp location. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

    As a Front Desk Supervisor with Under Canvas, you are responsible for the operation of the Front Desk and the supervision of the Camp Concierges and Night Audits. You will engage with guests from the moment they arrive on site through the duration of their stay. Your goal is to ensure our guests have everything they need to relax and enjoy being outside together with family, friends, and nature. We cater to a diverse range of guests including groups, families, and individuals varying in age, interests, and with various degrees of comfort in outdoor elements. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes team member housing for the duration of employment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Your positive attitude, ability to listen to guests, and predict and respond to their needs in a timely manner for the duration of their stay will lead to consistently positive guest feedback
    • Participate in weekly and daily meetings to ensure the Camp Concierges and Night Audit are well informed about activities offered on site as well as off site, upcoming events or groups, and any other special events or arrivals
    • Reconcile accounting ledgers, make accounting adjustments, process credit cards, and prepare billing
    • Ensure you are working efficiently with available resources
    • Ability to meet deadlines and scheduling needs
    • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching employees.
    • Properly assign rooms based on inventory, requests, and guarantees.
    • Lead the front desk team in Under Canvas sustainability efforts.
    • Work with housekeeping supervisor to ensure all lost and found items are properly handled.
    • Develop and maintain a great relationship among your team members creates a warm and fun environment where all feel welcome and appreciated.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Job Summary

    This is a unique opportunity to work outdoors close to some of the country's most popular national parks. As an Operations Supervisor, you partner closely with the General Manager (GM) and Assistant General Manager (AGM) to ensure the camp delivers exceptional guest experiences. The Operations Supervisor serves as an expert in customer service and operational processes, collaborating daily with team members from front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, and food & beverage. The Operations Supervisor would be directly responsible for managing the Camp Concierge, Guest Experience Coordinator, and Housekeeping teams. Together with the GM and AGM, the Operations Supervisor communicates goals and expectations to the team and assists where needed.

    This is a seasonal, non-exempt position

    Responsibilities
