As a Residential Summer Camp Counselor, you’ll guide campers in riding waves, exploring marine ecosystems, and fostering a love for the ocean—all while creating lifelong memories.

What You’ll Do

• Inspire and Educate: Lead daily surfing or boogie boarding sessions, marine science lessons, and evening activities.

• Supervise and Support: Provide 24/7 care and supervision for campers in bunkrooms and the field.

• Teamwork and Logistics: Assist with camper arrivals, equipment management, and program setup and breakdown.

• Ensure Safety: Prioritize safety in all activities, adhering to high standards and emergency procedures.

• Be a Role Model: Foster a welcoming, positive environment for campers and fellow staff.

Who We’re Looking For

We need energetic, service-oriented individuals who love the ocean and are passionate about teaching and inspiring youth.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school graduate, age 19 or older

• Excellent physical condition (able to lift 50 lbs unassisted)

• Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid certifications (prior to training)

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Confident in the ocean and waves

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in marine science, education, or summer camps

• BA/BS (or pursuit) in marine biology, environmental science, or related fields

• Energetic morning person with a positive attitude
