    Reservations and Sales

    Reservations Team Lead

    $16.00 - $18.00 / hour
    Ohiopyle

    This position touches our customers from before, during and after their departure. You are responsible for being their contact during the reservation process by answering any questions they might have about their trip and setting up everything in our reservation system as needed. You are there to also assist them when they arrive during the check-in process, and then after they leave by following up on any remaining items with the customer. You are the one responsible for communicating what the customer needs with our operations teams to make sure it happens! 

    Job Duties: 

    ● Assisting with all incoming calls to the main office 

    ● Monitoring the companies reservations system (AdventureRES) and being efficient in all processes pertaining to booking activities within that system 

    ● Collaborating with the department director and marketing team to create and achieve yearly sales goals and projects 

    ● Assist in resolving customer complaints and issues 

    ● Ensuring the Reservations team is compliant with company policies and procedures ● Overseeing the onsite check-in operation 

    ● Assisting with training and mentoring seasonal staff 

    ● Providing guidance for customers when they are on property as needed 

    ● Basic operation of the POS system to assist with retail sales 

    ● Maintaining knowledge of all activities and events occurring within the company ● Promoting Wilderness Voyageurs services and amenities 

    ● Communicating all changes and updates with the Operations Team as needed ● No job description for a position can include all duties that may be requested by the business or guest. Additional tasks beyond what is listed above may be asked of you 

    Qualifications 

    ● Comfortable working with multiple computer systems 

    ● Ability to work flexible hours and schedules 

    ● Passion for outdoor adventure! 

    ● Demonstrate professionalism when working with customers at all times 

    ● Previous customer service experience required (1-3 years in a customer facing role, such as serving, call center, front desk or similar positions)

    Do you have a Class A or B CDL with a passenger endorsement? Come work in a low stress, fun environment, where your passengers are happy and thankful for you getting them to and from the fun. We operate 40 passenger buses and 15 passenger vans. Both full time seasonal and part time seasonal positions available.

    Fly Fishing Guide and Instructor

    A fly-fishing guide/instructor's job, at its core, is to give people a successful fly fishing experience. This does not automatically mean catching boat loads of fish. It means that the overall guest experience is overwhelmingly positive, and that the guide/instructor has a high level of professionalism, and attention to detail. Wade trips and float trips are usually with guests who have some experience, whereas our instructional programs are all about getting Beginners the skills and knowledge to appreciate the sport and hopefully create in them a life long passion.     Wilderness Voyageurs store is a gear junkies paradise, from paddling to pedaling gear, Wilderness Voyageurs provides top notch gear carrying big name outdoor brands like Prana, Marmot, Astral, Keen, Mountain Hardware, Endura, Zoic, Terry, Giro and Immersion Research. The Wilderness Voyageurs store also carries Cannondale and Kona bikes for daily rentals in addition to a large assortment of demo kayaks.

    Do you enjoy taking photographs and being outside all day? Ohiopyle State Park makes taking a bad picture nearly impossible. Being a Wilderness Voyageurs photographer keeps you busy, but also has it’s perks on hot summer days when you get to soak your feet along the river as raft trips await your camera lens at Cucumber Rapid.

You’ll get to enjoy interacting with guests every step of the way -from the first time they call to when they arrive for their adventure. It’s fun, social and a very important position in the company. Tough decisions include where to eat lunch, on the bike trial or sitting next to the river.

    Falls City Restaurant & Pub is our on site full service restaurant serving up yummy food and more than 50 craft beers.  Whether you want to be a head engineer on the "Sweet Meat Express" (our immense smoker that fills the river valley with delicious smells) or help to keep the party rolling on the "Partio," if you want to work at the beating heart of the Ohiopyle social scene, this is the gig for you.  Front and back of the house positions are available this coming summer season.  Hit the application link and get on the good foot to be part of a great food and drink experience.

    River Guide

    Our little slice of heaven is tailor made to create top notch river guides.  So, if you want to be a river guide – this is the place to do it!  We will break you down and build you back up, giving you all the skills you need to become an accomplished river guide with the abilities to work and thrive on a variety of rivers. Complete a job application to get the process started! Training starts the second weekend of April and continues every weekend until the second weekend of May. Hit this link to find out more.  If you have already have experience as a river guide and you are looking for something new and different, check us out.  Our river and our trips are unique.  On other rivers, you are a "raft" guide.  Not here.  Here you are a Whitewater Action Hero.  You are in the mix.  In a kayak, in a raft, and in the water, making an unforgettable and awesome experience for our guests, and spreading the love of the river.  Fill out an application and see where we can take you.
