Wildlings Mountain Camp is a premier childcare facility located at the base of Park City Mountain Resort. We provide a safe, enriching, and adventure-filled environment for children, allowing parents to enjoy all that Park City has to offer. Whether it's daily drop-in programs, seasonal camps, or evening playgroups, we foster creativity, growth, and a deep love to nurture every child in our care.

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Lead Caregiver to join our team for the upcoming winter season. In this role, you’ll take on leadership responsibilities while actively engaging with children in a fun and nurturing setting. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring a positive experience for children, and leading a team of caregivers.

What You’ll Do:

• Hands-On Care: Actively participate in daily activities, from outdoor play to structured learning, fostering a positive and inclusive environment for children.

• Program Development: Work with the Director and assistant director to execute an 8-day rotating curriculum, incorporating crafts, sensory play, movement, and outdoor activities. 

• Safety First: Ensure compliance with state childcare regulations and maintain proper ratios of staff to children at all times.

• Parent Communication: Serve as a point of contact for parents, providing regular updates and ensuring their concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.

• Daily Operations: Oversee the opening and closing of the facility, ensuring cleanliness and organization.

What You Bring:

• Childcare Experience: Minimum of 2+ years in a licensed childcare setting, with experience as a lead teacher or caregiver.

• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and create a positive work environment.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Utah childcare licensing regulations (or willingness to learn).

• Passion for Child Development: A genuine love for working with children, guiding them through developmental milestones, and helping them grow in a supportive environment.

• Outdoor Enthusiasm: Comfort and enthusiasm for working both indoors and outdoors, regardless of weather conditions.

• Certifications: CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification).

• Background Check: Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.

• Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to adjust quickly to the needs of the children and the team.
