Wind River Outdoor Company is a specialty outdoor retailer located in Lander, Wyoming at the foothills of the Wind River Range. With 4,000 square feet of modern retail space – WROC specialize in providing sportsman/outdoor adventurers with the finest Fishing, Hunting, Backpacking, Camping, apparel and footwear available.
We are seeking a dynamic Full-Time Retail Floor Coordinator who appreciates the outdoor lifestyle and enjoys outfitting customers for great adventures.
Working in conjunction with the Retail Sales team and under the supervision of the Leadership team, you will
Create a store atmosphere that is welcoming and inclusive by setting the tone for daily store operations in a supportive manner
Lead a team of retail sales associates that are knowledgeable on store product and provide the best service possible to customers of WROC.

Duties:
Perform daily operations for fast paced specialty outdoor store. Main duties will include but not limited to:
Merchandising seasonal product in an effective manner
Sales and inventory management - ensuring fast moving items are reordered and restocked in a timely manner
Task delegation – ensuring maximum productivity from retail sales team
Lead by example - Supporting retail sales team with all daily duties including stocking the floor, sales and customer service.
Communicating store initiatives, current promotions and policy updates with retail sales team
Carrying out in store specials and events
Providing regular feedback to store leadership team
Til management
Help achieve financial goals and business objectives in accordance with strategic plan developed by the leadership team.
Achieve world class customer service by providing each guest with a great in store experience and handling any customer complaints or issues
Assist with fulfillment and inventory tracking for Ecommerce merchandise

Requirements:
Previous retail experience required, in outdoor store setting preferred.
Self-motivated professional with a positive can do attitude
Punctual and reliable
Ability to communicate in professional capacity with customers and team members
Love of the outdoors and in depth knowledge of outdoor recreational pursuits
Willingness to contribute to a team environment
