Chef

The Windjammer Angelique is looking for an experienced chef to work aboard this season. Must have good people and organizational skills, be a team player, and like challenges.  A passion for cooking, baking, and a sense of adventure is a must.

You will be responsible for menu planning, shopping, and preparing three meals a day, plus appetizers and desserts. You will be managing and working with two assistants. We serve "gourmet comfort food" family style, accommodating special diets as needed. We source as much local meat and produce as possible to give our guests an experience above and beyond expectation.

We have the best view from any kitchen or galley in New England! This is not your everyday chef "job".  We offer 4, 5, & 6-night cruises along the beautiful Maine coast. Angelique can accommodate 29 guests and sails with a crew of 6 (3 on deck, 3 in the galley)  

Sailing experience is not necessary, but a willingness to learn is encouraged! You will be a member of our crew and help sail and operate the vessel in addition to galley responsibilities.

Room and board (plus excellent tips) included with salary, this is a liveaboard position with a busy schedule!

Mandatory DOT drug testing required per USCG regulations. Drivers license required.
