Wings Airways is a floatplane company offering glacier flightseeing excursions from the historical Downtown Juneau waterfront. We’re a small, seasonal company where every employee is an extremely valuable part of the “team”. We hire a small staff each season and we expect those hired to give 110% no matter what. Season: April 25th, 2024 - September 30th, 2024
Job Description: Ramp Personnel must be able to work quickly and efficiently to keep our planes flying on time. Ramp Personnel assist the pilots docking and departing Downtown Juneau, securing the floatplanes safe and carefully, fueling and washing the aircrafts, and loading or unloading freight if need be. Safety, communication, and responsibility are a priority. An excellent work atmosphere in the heart of downtown with positive people and a fantastic product!
This position includes physical work, applicant must be able to lift 75 lbs with ease and handle working long days. Must be at least 18 yrs or older and available for the May-September season. Ability to operate a small skiff is preferred but not mandatory.
