We are looking for enthusiastic persons who can't wait to share Interior and Arctic Alaska with guests from around the country and the world while operating a 26 passenger bus on Alaska's famous Dalton Highway.

These are day tours based in Fairbanks, AK. It is 200 miles to the Arctic Circle on the Dalton Highway - and 200 miles back. Because we operate at a speed appropriate to a rugged, gravel, wilderness highway, and because we make stops to see the sights and take photos, each tour takes about 16 to 18 hours. This means only 2 to (occasionally) 3 tours per week with lots of overtime hours.

We will train you to get your Commercial Driver License, which is yours to keep and use in the future. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and be at least 21 years of age in order to obtain a Class B CDL.   

Training starts April 14 (We pay minimum wage (AK) for most of your training hours). Your first tour is generally the first week of June. Our Midnight Sun season ends September 21. The last month of the season - August 21-Sept 21 - is quite busy because it is getting dark enough at night for folks to see the Aurora Borealis - another perk for you as a guide.

Compensation is $17.00/hour (with housing + transportation) or $20.00 (without housing / transportation) + gratuities. Remember, at least half of your guiding hours will be paid at time-and-a-half. $1000 season completion bonus for guides coming from outside of Alaska.
