Raft Guide
We are a family-owned and operated company. We run 8 and 18 mile Whitewater Trips (Class II and III) and Scenic Floats on The Yellowstone River at Yellowstone's North Entrance. If you have guiding experience or a CDL please be sure to elaborate on that in your resume. You can expect to take 1-3 trips daily, starting wage per trip is $45 (to start, otherwise BOE for experienced Guides) for 8 Mile and $90 (to start, otherwise BOE for experienced Guides) for the 18 Mile. We use 14ft and 16ft oar or paddle assisted rafts and kayaks as well. Staff is paid bi-weekly and there are Pro Deals available through NRS and Chaco. HOUSING/TENT SPACE IS AVAILABLE FOR $75 PER MONTH.
All Guides must have Swiftwater Rescue and First Aid/CPR Certification. If you do not have this or need to renew, you can do so here when you arrive. We use oars on Scenic Floats, The 18 Mile and for high water, otherwise we do use Guide Sticks. At the least, Guides should have their own river shoes, helmet, knife and PFD which you can order through our Pro Deal. You can borrow gear from us for training when the water is cold.
Guides usually work 6 days a week because our season is so short and most staff want to make as much money as possible. Days off are of course allowed but unless they are already scheduled you must request them. No multi day vacations are allowed.
Guides are expected to maintain a friendly, positive and professional attitude towards guests and coworkers at all times. We expect you to be a kind, helpful and respectful roommate/tenant on our property where our staff lives.
You will work as a team to get gear and rafts ready for the day and put away gear, rafts and vans at the end of the day. The Boatyard and Gear/Raft Area of the Raft Office needs to be clean and tidy at the end of the day.
You will need to be in great condition to lift rafts, heavy gear bags, lift Guests out of the water and be able to pull yourself into the raft!
Assist Guests with anything they need including signing waivers, getting geared up for the trip, help them in and out of the raft, answer questions about the local area and Yellowstone, answer questions about their photos after the trip, etc.
You must be a punctual person, display good judgement, be a safe driver (you will be driving Guests in vans pulling a trailer), very flexible and have a helpful attitude.
Assist in the maintenance, cleaning and repair of all gear, including wetsuit, splash jacket and water shoe washing. Be respectful of all gear, vehicles and property of ours, it is what helps us do our jobs!

Reservations and Retail Staff
We are looking for dynamic, polite "people persons" to be our Front Desk and Retail Staff last week of April - September (we can be flexible with school schedules). Guest Service and Retail experience are preferred. You must be able to multi-task, a self-starter, have an engaging phone voice, be confident, positive and flexible.
You will be selling the trip photos, the trips themselves and retail. You will be working with an Online Booking System, answer Website Instant Messaging, sell Retail, use a Cash Register, stocking and pricing items, keep the store clean and answering the phones, etc.
You are "The Face" of the company so cleanliness, style, drug free and a wonderful attitude are a must! Wage is based on experience.

Housekeepers
We are looking for efficient Team Players who have an eye for detail and enjoy cleaning. We have three vacation rentals, Glamping Tipis and a Bathhouse all in a beautiful setting at The North Gate of Yellowstone Park.
This position is Full Time. Our Check Out Time is 10:00 and Check In is 4:00 but there are other Housekeeping tasks like laundry to do. You will float between the properties, which are less than one mile from each other. We are a family owned business and we have a wonderful Property Manager you will work directly with.
Housing is included, you will have a Roommate. This position is May through the first week of October.
Pay is BOE.
