Explore the Pacific Northwest and take advantage of our waterfront views of the Olympic Mountains at YMCA Camp Colman. Located on the beautiful Key Peninsula, Camp Colman offers a mile of beachfront where our instructors teach classes in marine science, geology, and more! Facilitate classes such as rock climbing, squid dissection, and teambuilding with a team of fun, caring, and adventurous co-workers. Spring positions begin February 24 and continue through June 13, with options to continue on through the Summer and Fall.
Compensation starts at $100/day, plus on-site staff housing with WiFi access and shared kitchen (including a weekly food allowance), meals in the camp lodge when programs are running, use of camp facilities and gear when not in use (sea kayaks, canoes, climbing tower, and so much more), Y membership, and experiencing a powerful, intimate community. Preference is given to applicants who have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent life experience, at least one season of experience teaching environmental education, strong communication and leadership skills, and passionate about science and the outdoors.
