Line Cook, Prep Cook

Cordwood is located in a restored barn at Zion Mountain Ranch, with a nostalgic atmosphere inside with outside expansive views of the bison preserve. Steps away from Cordwood is an active aquaponics greenhouse, and a short walk away is the ranch's farm and chicken coop. Seasonal fruits and vegetables are highlighted daily in the menu as well as local produce, which makes eating at Cordwood one of the highlights of the Zion Mountain Ranch experience. 

Now hiring all positions with start dates as soon as February 15 and as late as April 1. In search of experienced Line and/or Prep cooks with an interest in preparing meals based on seasonal farm produce and local proteins.  Applicants should have a passion for healthy food preparation.

What we expect: 

• Show and expand your understanding of how a functional farm-to-table restaurant operates on a day-to-day basis.

• Opportunity to apply skills and techniques, and learn new ones, to help improve kitchen performance and overall quality of food production.

• Understand and perform daily procedures maintaining a clean, efficient and friendly kitchen environment.

• Work in a fast-paced kitchen as you provide quality food for guests from across the globe.

• Create and plate entrees as directed by F&B management and the chef.

• Work at one of southern Utah’s most exquisite guest resorts.
