We have been leading outdoor expeditions since 1926, and currently work with hundreds of kids each year. We use the outdoor classroom to explore science, culture, history, art, and adventure in the Southwest all while focusing on personal growth and living in community. We partner with local schools, facilitate summer programs and strive to support connections to nature for young people in NM.

Our Basecamp is located in the Zuni Mountains, in western New Mexico, just south of Red Rock State Park and smack dab in the middle of Cibola National Forest. We are closest to Thoreau, NM
