    Food and Beverage

    Lead Server

    Stanley

    The lead server will oversee a team of servers in the restaurant, ensuring that the service provided exceeds customers expectations. This will be accomplished  by providing training, managing table assignments, coordinating with the kitchen and bar staff as well as being the manager on duty at times. This postion requires a strong and experienced server that performs the daily duties of a server as well. (See server job description)

    Hourly wage plus tips Depends on experience.

     

    Must have strong communication, orginizational, and leadership skills 

    Duties of the lead Server to be expected are; 

    Training new servers on restaurant procedures and standards as well as menu knowledge and communication and promotion of daily features offered by the kitchen. Assigning tables and sections to servers as well as managing the flow of the dining room.

    Addressing customer issues, complaints in a timely manner. Anticipating customers and servers needs through operational awareness. 

    Effectively handling staff issues, restaurant cleanliness, enforcing restaurant standards regarding food presentation and delivery

    Othere duties may be assigned as needed by the restaurant general manager. 

     

    Food and Beverage

    Bartender

    We are looking for a few experienced high volume bartenders to join our team for the summer season and beyond.   Our bartenders in our saloon, dance hall and off site events need to be level headed, work well under pressure have fun and be able to provide excellent service to our guests while multi tasking handling the bar.  The bartenders rotate from bartending the saloon and dance hall as well as private and off site events to serving guests on the saloon floor.

    If you enjoy a highpaced environment and looking for a work hard and play hard summer this could be for you. 

    JOB DESCRIPTION BARTENDER

    Job Overview:

    Serving guests in our fast-paced three meal service a day restaurant in a beautiful remote mountain location. This position is hired seasonal full-time with the possibility of becoming year around. Must provide or obtain Alcohol training certificate within 7 days of employment. Bartenders hourly wage is $5.25 plus self-earned cash and credit card tips.  Proper personal hygiene and attire required. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Mountain Village has a kitchen tipping policy, which is 2% of food sales, when food sales exceed $500 during a shift. Host 1% and Food runner 1% when either position is utilized. The committed work timeframe is expected to be fulfilled.  Extended days off are not allowed during our peak season (Memorial Day – Labor Day). Qualifications are, three years of bartending experience in a fast paced restaurant/bar environment

    Responsibilities and duties:

    The position of server will need to be available to work, lunch and or dinner as the needs of the operation change.   Bartenders are hired to work either lunch or dinner but flexibility is required at times to work other shifts.  Barbacks are generally not utilized so organizational skills and time management are key. Bartenders generally work 8 to 10 hours per shift 

    • Greeting customers: Welcoming customers and directing them to open seating
    • Check ID’S Verify the guests age through checking Id for proper age as well as authenticity
    • Enforcing laws and regulations regarding the consumption of alcohol
    • Taking orders: Taking food and drink orders by providing impeccable customer service.  Opening and maintaining tabs throughout the shift Recommending dishes and beverages to guests as well as explaining daily features
    • Serving various beverages and food: Preparing traditional and creative cocktails through knowledge of mixology and complimentary flavor pairings with various liquor, wine beer and food items   
    • Providing customer service: Having good communication skills, answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving customer issues by being able to evaluate customer satisfaction and being responsive to it.
    • Issuing bills and accepting payment: Preparing bills and processing payments as well as balancing cash receipts and preparing cash deposits
    • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation: Ensuring the restaurant is clean and sanitary throughout service and by doing daily/weekly side work

     

    Food and Beverage

    Cook

    $18.00 / hour + tips

    Mountain Village is a year-round three-meal-a-day restaurant that is fast-casual service. We are known for excellent food from our breakfast selection to burgers, ribs, and our famous prime rib, Our cooks all work together as a team.   All cooks are required to do prep as well as cook on the line.  Generally each cook is assigned to either breakfast/ lunch or dinner.  We also have a very busy banquet season we can serve up to 150 guests for weddings and other events.   You may also be asked to participate in off-property catering events as well. Having a Serve Safe certification is a plus along with good knife skills and food safety knowledge as well.   This position is seasonal full-time time which could lead to a year-round position.   Starting pay is 18.00 per hour with merit pay increases evaluated after 60 days.  All cooks do receive tips weekly from the service staff being 2 percent of food sales over 500 dollars. Extended days off are not allowed during our peak season (Memorial Day – Labor Day).  Proper hygiene and work attire are required. Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time is necessary

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Preparing food: This includes chopping, slicing, seasoning, baking, frying, grilling, and boiling. Cooks may also prepare sauces/soups or do prep work. 
    • Maintaining a clean kitchen: Cooks are responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and organized, including cleaning workspaces, utensils, and dishes. They also ensure the work area is safe.
    • Storing food properly: Cooks are responsible for managing food storage and stock levels, including looking after refrigeration equipment and storing raw and ready-made ingredients. Labeling all food with pull date or made on date
    • Checking quality of ingredients: Cooks inspect deliveries to ensure fresh produce and check the quality of all ingredients. 
    • Planning menus: Cooks may plan daily features and order ingredients. 
    • Meeting food safety and sanitation regulations: Cooks must meet food safety and sanitation regulations. 
    • Work in Tandem with wait staff and management: Cooks work with wait staff and management in order to ensure a smooth operation

    Housekeeper

    Includes but is not limited to: cleaning rooms, vacuuming, cleaning & sanitizing bathrooms, dusting, making beds. Must be self-motivated, dependable and can efficiently execute tasks with minimal supervision. Property includes 61 rooms, a conference room and a hot springs facility.

    Maintenance/Groundskeeper/Janitorial

    Maintaining clean grounds and functional equipment throughout our property. Including, but is not limited to general repairs, lawn maintenance & watering, cleaning, sweeping, garbage removal and painting. Works flexible shifts & is on their feet for long periods of time. Self-motivated, dependable

    Server/Host

    We are a fast casual three meal service a day restaurant that is high voliumne.   Working in a restaurant can be challenging and rewarding as well as fun and stressfull.  We are looking for a few experienced servers that are well organized, team players that can multi-task be leveled headed and provide consistent friendly service to our guests. As with any restaurant youll be required to seat guests, take orders, serve the guests bustables and carry your own bank

     JOB DESCRIPTION SERVER

    Job Overview:

Mountain Village has an in- house tipping policy, kitchen which is 2% of food sales, when food sales exceed $500 during a shift. Host 1% and Food runner 1% when either position is utilized. Extended days off are not allowed during our peak season (Memorial Day – Labor Day).

    Responsibilities and duties:

    The position of server will need to be available to work breakfast, lunch and or dinner as the needs of the operation change.   Servers are hired to work one of the three shifts but flexibility is required at times to work other shifts.  Bussers are not utilized so organizational skills and time management are key.  Servers generally work 8 to 10 hours per shift depending on business levels.  Proper hygiene and work attire are required. Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time. Qualified servers will have three years of experience in a high paced environment 

    • Greeting customers: Welcoming customers and showing them to their seats 
    • Taking orders: Taking food and drink orders, and placing them using the POS system 
    • Serving food and drinks: Delivering food and drinks to customers throughout the shift and running food for others on the team.   Practice full hand in full hands out
    • Communicating with kitchen and bar staff: Being the main link between the kitchen and customers, solving issues at the table as well as communicating compliments as well
    • Providing customer service: Having good communication skills, answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving customer issues by being able to evaluate customer satisfaction and being responsive to it.
    • Issuing bills and accepting payment: Preparing bills and processing payments & closing paperwork
    • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation: Ensuring the restaurant is clean and sanitary throughout service and by doing daily/weekly side work
    • Being familiar with the menu: Recommending dishes and beverages to guests as

    well as explaining daily features Knowing veggie, GlutenFree, and being familiar with the allergy table.

    Service Shop Assistant/Tire Technician

    In conjunction with the gas station, we offer a full-service mechanic shop. Duties include, but are not limited to mechanical work, servicing vehicles, tire changing & balancing and detailing cars while maintaining a clean & organized shop. Tire knowledge and basic vehicle mechanics is required.
