Shared Rooms: Most of our housing consists of shared rooms, perfect for those who enjoy a social environment and interaction with fellow employees.
- Private Rooms: Available for select positions.
- Bathroom Facilities: Private and shared Bathrooms are available.

- Housing Proximity to Work: All housing is conveniently located near the work site(s), making commuting easy and giving you more time to enjoy your time off.
- Housing Fees: There is a small fee for housing, which is deducted from your paycheck. The fee covers rent, utilities, and basic amenities. Exact rates will be provided during the hiring process, but we strive to keep housing affordable and competitive for the area.

Traveling to Skagway
By Car (via the Alaska Highway): Skagway is accessible by road from the mainland of Alaska and Canada. The Alaska Highway offers a scenic drive, providing travelers with breathtaking views as they make their way to Skagway.
By Ferry: If you're coming from other parts of Alaska or the Pacific Northwest, the Alaska Marine Highway System offers ferry service to and from Skagway, with regular routes from Juneau and other coastal Alaskan towns. The ferry ride offers stunning views through the Inside Passage.
By Air: Mainline jet service is available to Juneau, Alaska which is the regional air access hub to Skagway. Skagway is served by the Skagway Airport (SGY), with flights from Juneau available via small aircraft or commuter airlines. Scenic flights offer a bird’s-eye view of Alaska’s rugged landscapes and are a great way to see the area from above.
By Cruise Ship: As a popular cruise destination, Skagway is accessible by sea. Cruise ships regularly dock in our historic harbor, bringing visitors from all over the world.

Once you’re in Skagway, getting around is easy and enjoyable!
On Foot: Skagway’s compact size makes it very walkable. The historic downtown is just a few blocks, with shops, restaurants, and local attractions all within walking distance of one another.
Bicycles: For a more adventurous way to explore, you can purchase bikes in town
Local Transit: Skagway has a reliable public transportation system, including local shuttles and taxis to help you get around if needed.

- Don’t Forget Your Passport! Skagway is only 15 miles (24 km) from the Canadian border. Check Canadian government regulations to confirm you meet the requirements for cross-border travel. A valid passport is necessary for visiting Canada and enjoying excursions across the border.
