The Nature Place is Colorado Outdoor Education Center's adult conference center. We host team, leadership, and conference retreats for various professional companies.
Laura and Sandy Sanborn had a dream of creating a place where young people could learn to live together in the out-of-doors. In 1948, they welcomed four boys to summer camp. Now, over 70 years later, four non profit organizations, COEC, SWC, HTOEC, and TNP, provide outdoor experiences for thousands of children and adults each year.
The Nature Place is located at elevation of 8600 ft in the Rocky Mountains of central Colorado, 35 miles west of Colorado Springs.
