About Tidewater Taphouse
Nautically industrial, eclectic harbor taphouse remodeled from a former boat repair garage offering Alaska-brewed beers, seltzers, ciders, and wine cocktails. We also offer NA cocktails and beers. Our menu is geared to have something for everyone, from burgers and flatbreads to upscale dinner entrees. We offer casual dining downstairs with a traditional taphouse vibe with an outdoor patio, while upstairs is a more upscale feel with harbor views and mythical decor.
Our staff are outdoor loving, honest, hardworking, good people. We help each other to make everyone, staff, and guests included, have a fantastic experience while here in Alaska.

We are not a resort with onsite housing, we can recommend local rentals and agencies, and social media sites that can assist you in finding housing accommodations. Many of our seasonal regulars have sleeper vans or RV’s, rent a room, or opt to camp.

Getting Here and Getting Around
Seward is a small town. It doesn’t even have a traffic light. From the south end of downtown to the north end of the harbor is right around a mile. Traveling by foot or bike once you get here is very easy depending on where you live. There is a bike rental business downtown. Having a car does allow the ability to potentially have more options for housing that may not be inside city limits. Flying into Alaska, you arrive in Anchorage. There is a train and bus service to Seward. In the area, we do have taxis but they are limited.
For Fun
Do you love fishing? Seward is a fishermen’s dream, whether it is by boat or off the beach. Prefer hiking? There is an abundance of hiking available right in town. There are also services that offer paddleboarding, kayaking, and wildlife viewing.
