Turpin Meadow Ranch

While the dining is fine, the atmosphere is comfortable.  Each guest is to be welcomed as a friend and treated like royalty.  We are looking for candidates with prior experience in hospitality, serving, and bartending AND willing to commit to an entire summer season from June through September.  Salary is based on experience and seasonal commitment.

Salary plus tips, Season bonus, and Seasonal Housing Provided.

Must be able to commit the entire season (June 3rd, 2024, through September 29th, 2024)

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Our ideal candidates have hospitality in mind no matter what duty is being completed.  Guest service and satisfaction are paramount.  Though we have a lot of fun at Turpin Meadow Ranch, we seek the most talented and professional individuals.  We require that candidates be 18 years of age or older and possess positive characteristics.  We are looking for healthy individuals who care about their hygiene and appearance.  Please, no smokers, as we are a smoke-free campus.  We seek responsible individuals who respect themselves, others, animals, and property.  Our employees must be flexible and can take direction while maintaining a joyful spirit.  Attention to detail is a must; ideally, our employees can see what needs to be done without being asked.  Our team members must have positive attitudes and strong work ethics; everyone is expected to be willing and happy to lend a helping hand when needed.  It is critical that our employees can be satisfied in a remote area with a limited cell phone and an internet connection, if this is a concern please discuss it during the interview process.

EMPLOYEE PERKS:

• Tips are divided evenly between staff in your department.
• During the season, a general camp tip fund grows and is divided among the staff at the end of the season.
• Staff are provided with free accommodations, including a community kitchen and laundry. 

GETTING HERE & AROUND:

You will be expected to arrive in Jackson Hole by your own means. Jackson Hole has an airport, but it is strongly recommended that you have your own reliable transportation so that you can explore the nearby parks and also get into town on your own. The ranch does not provide regular employee shuttles.

Navigation systems and GPS units may provide inaccurate information. Print and prepare your driving directions beforehand. If you have a question about closed roads, please call us before you begin your journey to the ranch. Cell phone reception is limited in nearby areas and other parts of Wyoming.

If you are an outdoor enthusiast, Turpin Meadow Ranch is the place for you!  

With stunning views of the Tetons out the front door and Wyoming’s second-largest Wilderness Area out your backdoor, there is never a moment of dullness. Turpin Meadow is 15 miles from the entrance of Grand Teton National Park and 40 miles to the south boundary entrance of Yellowstone National Park. With three National Forest trailheads within walking distance, you will quickly be on your way to exploring the backcountry.

Jackson Hole offers world-class hiking, horseback riding, and camping. Multi-sport days are a regular thing around these parts; SXS Adventures, biking, and fishing are not unheard of, and everyone should be on the same day. By night, enjoy a campfire with some good friends or treat yourself to a delicious meal at one of Jackson’s favorite foodie restaurants. The ranch is about an hour away from the town of Jackson, where every night is Friday!  

Jackson is an ideal place for creative individuals due to its lively art scene. The town holds several art fairs, live theater, and music performances, including free concerts. Besides, there is an excellent arts center that offers classes in almost every medium and hosts shows from all over the country and the world.
