    Preferred Qualifications

    As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you play an important role in creating a memorable first impression for our guests from the moment they enter their tent. We pride ourselves on providing guests with a camping experience that includes all the comforts and luxury of home. Your role is to lead a team of housekeepers to provide guests with a consistently clean and comfortable environment in their tent for the duration of their stay. You will work side-by-side with your team to deliver results. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

    Summary

    As a Barista, you are an important point of contact during our guest stay and dining experiences. You will engage with guests at our café style restaurant, and coffee carts where you will craft coffee drinks, process transactions, run food and beverages, and support the entire operation as needed. Your goal is to provide quality beverages and stellar service ensuring our guests have everything they need for an enjoyable experience. We cater to a diverse range of guests including groups, families, and individuals varying in age, interests, and with various degrees of comfort in outdoor elements.     Camp Facility Tech 1

    Summary

    As a Facilities Technician, you work closely with the Facilities Supervisor to ensure our glamping location is well-maintained, safe, and operational for our team members and guests. You play an important role in our success by performing daily maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of our tents, amenities, equipment, and property. Depending on the camp location, the nature of work performed will vary from basic upkeep to more technical functions such as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. This is a seasonal, hourly position that includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

    • Work alongside facilities team members, under the director of the Facilities Manager, on related tasks and in across multiple departments as needed

    Fresh air, nature, and clean linens! This is a unique opportunity to work outdoors in some of the country’s most popular national parks. As a Laundry Attendant, you play a critical role in what makes Under Canvas so unique, providing our guests with crisp linens and fresh towels as they sleep under the stars. Reporting to a Laundry Supervisor, you will work with a team of peers to clean and restock linens for a camp location. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

    • Report concerns that need attention to the Housekeeping Supervisor in a timely manner

    As a Camp Concierge, you are often the first point of contact for our guests on site, and you play a critical role in setting the tone for the duration of their stay. Engage with guests from the moment they arrive on site through the duration of their stay. Your goal is to ensure our guests have everything they need to relax and enjoy being outside together with family, friends, and nature. We cater to a diverse range of guests including groups, families, and individuals varying in age, interests, and with various degrees of comfort in outdoor elements. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment. Must be of legal age to utilize team member housing.

    As a Front Desk Supervisor with Under Canvas, you are responsible for the operation of the Front Desk and the supervision of the Camp Concierges and Night Audits.     • Participate in weekly and daily meetings to ensure the Camp Concierges and Night Audit are well informed about activities offered on site as well as off site, upcoming events or groups, and any other special events or arrivals
    • Reconcile accounting ledgers, make accounting adjustments, process credit cards, and prepare billing
    • Ensure you are working efficiently with available resources
    • Ability to meet deadlines and scheduling needs
    • Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching employees.
    • Properly assign rooms based on inventory, requests, and guarantees.
    • Lead the front desk team in Under Canvas sustainability efforts.
    • Work with housekeeping supervisor to ensure all lost and found items are properly handled.
    • Develop and maintain a great relationship among your team members creates a warm and fun environment where all feel welcome and appreciated.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Preferred Qualifications

    • High School Diploma/GED 
    • 1+ years of prior supervisor experience
