The Employee Experience
Under Canvas Moab is located just seven miles north of the town of Moab, near Utah’s famed Arches and Canyonlands national parks. Tucked between two world-class climbing, mountain biking, and hiking destinations, Under Canvas Moab is a perfect gateway to the towering plateaus, sandstone cliffs, and naturally occurring geologic wonders of Utah’s Canyon Country. As part of our team, you’ll be provided with housing in the vibrant town of Moab and can enjoy endless adventures year-round. Moab weather sees mild springs with blooming wildflowers, hot summer days, pleasant fall temperatures, and chilly winters dusted by snow. Be a part of our team and live the Moab adventure.

Room and Board
As a benefit to full-time employees, we provide low-cost housing in-season (and year-round to employees who commit to working for Under Canvas during the upcoming season). This unique benefit allows team members to live in comfortable, furnished housing units—each of which includes a kitchen, bathroom, living area, and several bedrooms (usually two people per bedroom).
Housing is taxed along with a $10/per paycheck fee.

Getting Here and Getting Around
Due to the remote aspect of this properties, having reliable transportation is required. This specific location does not have a shuttle.
For flying, the closest airport is Grand Junction, Utah and it approx. 1.5 hours away from Camp. Bus, shuttle, and train is available to get to Moab itself.
Housing is approx 10-20 minutes away depending on housing location.
For Fun
Under Canvas Moab is located 15 minutes from the town of Moab (offering a variety of shops, restaurant, and entertainment), 20 minutes from Arches National Park, and 45 minutes from Canyonlands National Park. The weather at this location varies by season. Spring is typically cool with occasional rain. Summer brings higher temperatures and reduced precipitation. Fall and winter are cool with occasional rain.
