    Bartender

    As a Bartender, you are an important point of contact during our guest stay and dining experiences. You will engage with guests at our café style restaurant, pop up bars, and coffee carts where you will craft cocktails and coffee drinks, process transactions, run food and beverages, and support the entire operation as needed. Your goal is to provide quality beverages and stellar service ensuring our guests have everything they need for an enjoyable experience. We cater to a diverse range of guests including groups, families, and individuals varying in age, interests, and with various degrees of comfort in outdoor elements. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

    Dining Room Manager

    $20.00 - $22.00 / hour

    As a Dining Room Manager, you will support the General Manager of Food and Beverage by leading the front of house team and completing delegated administrative tasks. You will ensure service, brand, and food safety standards are implemented and followed. You will work in the roles of server, host, food runner, barista, bartender and expeditor. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Regularly execute a smooth dining experience through management the floor during service, expediting tickets, and maintaining a presence in Front of House and Back of House

    General Manager of Food and Beverage

    This is a unique Food & Beverage opportunity to work near one of the country’s most beloved national parks. The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for all onsite food & beverage operations including, but not limited to, the restaurant, bar, grab & go, and coffee outlets. They are accountable for all operational finances including forecasting, budget planning and writing, purchasing, scheduling, and inventory management. The General Manager is responsible for team member engagement and management, upholding brand standards, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

    Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the development of the food and beverage menus

    • Knowledge of federal food safety standards and current Food Safety Manager certification required
    • Track record of managing profitability through proper staffing, effective control of food, beverage, and labor costs and achieving budgeted targets

    As a Host, you are the first point of contact for all guests starting their dining experience at our casual dining style restaurant. Your goal is to set the tone for the guests from the moment they enter. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes an option for employee housing for the duration of employment.

    Responsibilities

    • Demonstrate the stamina to work long hours in a fast-paced service environment

    Kitchen Manager

    As a Kitchen Manager, you will support the General Manager of Food and Beverage by leading the culinary team and completing delegated administrative tasks. You will ensure that food safety protocols and all brand standards are followed. The Kitchen Manager also serves as a lead cook and/or expediter. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment. 

    Responsibilities 

    • Support GM of F&B with team member management through interviewing, scheduling, missed punch adjustments and coaching conversations
    • Assist in supervising the day-to-day activities of staff, assign responsibilities for tasks, and set deadlines to ensure the timely completion of tasks
    • Maintain complete product knowledge and actively educate team members on menus, recipes, portions, specials, seasonal changes, allergens, etc.
    • Participate in menu development, seasonal changes, daily specials, costing and product adjustments, development of property wide Food and Beverage programing and optimization

    As a Line Cook, you are an integral part of our food and beverage program. You will work with other Back of the House team members to deliver on culinary standards in our live fire kitchens. Working in various stations including grill, sauté, fry, prep, pantry, outdoor pop-up dining experiences, and providing support to the overall operation makes you the heart of the operation. You will keep our guests and team members safe by following food safety and sanitation protocols. Your goal is to work as a team to push out quality dishes to create memorable dining experiences. We cater to a diverse range of guests including groups, families, and individuals varying in age, interests, and with various degrees of comfort in outdoor elements. This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes the option of team member housing for the duration of employment.

    • This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment, when applicable.

    Restaurant Manager

    This is a unique opportunity to work outdoors close to some of the country’s most popular national parks. The Restaurant Manager assists the General Manager of Food and Beverage with all onsite food & beverage operations including, but not limited to, restaurant, catering, bar, micro-market, and coffee. The Restaurant Manager will assist with forecasting, planning, and managing all F&B orders, supervise team members, and track and oversee departmental finances. The goals of the Food & Beverage Department are to maximize sales and revenue, drive guest satisfaction, and create high levels of employee engagement. The Restaurant Manager will serve as a Manager on Duty for the Restaurant and should be willing to learn and support all aspects of Under Canvas operations.

    • Track record of managing profitability through proper staffing, effective control of food, beverage, and labor costs and achieving budgeted targets
    • Willingness to assist in all roles to support the operation – Ex: working the line, processing guest transactions
    • Able to demonstrate sound judgement, follow direction, and take decisive, appropriate action
    • Willingness to learn and embrace company policies, practices and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures

    As a Lead Server, you are the main point of contact for our guest dining experience. You will engage with guests at our café style restaurant where you will make recommendations, process transactions, run food and drinks, and support the entire operation as needed. The Lead Server will also review menus, beverage lists, daily features and covers in reservation system with other service team members to ensure they are properly prepared to serve out guests. Although most of the lead server responsibilities are not supervisory in nature, they are to assist the whole service team on service steps, guest issues, menu questions, and ensure they are maintaining a high level of service. Your goal is to provide stellar service ensuring our guests have everything they need for an enjoyable meal outside together with friends, family, and nature.
