WCCC members improve the health and accessibility of these lands through projects such as: building and maintaining trails, fire fuel mitigation, fence construction & maintenance, invasive species removal, herbicide application, habitat restoration, and other conservation related projects.

WCCC crews are based in the urban centers of Grand Junction and Gunnison, Colorado, and venture out on a wide variety of projects in Mesa, Delta, Montrose, and Gunnison counties.
