WR Hospitality is a restaurant management and ownership group. We have 10 different free-standing restaurant concepts and provide food and beverage management services in multiple full-service operations.

RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR: This is a hands-on working position that supports the vision of WR Hospitality to create memorable dining experiences for our guests and supports our mission of empowering our teams to provide hospitality beyond our guests' expectations.
INTERESTS: Must be willing to adventure into the picturesque Southern Black Hills region of Custer, South Dakota. Seeking individuals to work in one and or two of our seasonal restaurants.
QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer candidates available May – October. Work commitment times can be negotiated. Proven work experience in a supervisory and or training role(s). Extensive Food and Beverage Knowledge. Strong leadership, communication and people skills and ability to problem solve for the betterment of our team and guests.
PURPOSE: Help maintain an efficient, profitable and professional dining room by supporting our mission and vison.
FUNCTIONS: Essential functions of a restaurant supervisor are working in the dining room and bar areas, managing from the front door or expo line, controlling the flow of operations and supporting team members in any way needed to keep operations flowing and guest satisfaction high.
LOCATION: Custer, SD is a vibrant community with many night life and outdoors opportunities. Black Hills are a busy tourist destination for horseback trail rides, old west cookouts, hiking, climbing, biking, and fly fishing. Breathtaking Forest backgrounds, panoramic mountain views, and abundant wildlife such as deer, elk, and one of the nation’s largest buffalo herds are all a part of the scenery.
Inside Our Building: We at WR Hospitality believe in being present and supporting our concepts. Not a week goes by without an owner supporting restaurant operations and being present. We are serving food, not saving lives, it should be fun to come to work and make some money. We are established employers who run efficient and profitable restaurants.
In and Around the Community: The Black Hills are a busy tourist destination for horseback trail rides, old west cookouts, hiking, climbing, biking, and fly fishing. Breathtaking Forest backgrounds, panoramic mountain views, picturesque Mountain Lake venues, and abundant wildlife such as Deer, Elk, Big Horn Sheep, Mountain Goats, and the nation’s largest free-roaming buffalo herd are all a part of the scenery.
Employees receive area activity discounts and can enjoy all of the amenities. Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, and the nearby Badlands National Park are places to visit on the “must-see” list.
We encourage all employees to take advantage of all there is to do and to see. We suggest doing all of the tourist things as well as seeing the bounty of the Black Hills. The Black Hills are a sacred place to the Native Americans, indigenous to the area because of the natural beauty of the landscape.
The ideal candidate can lead, train, manage and support our teams at one or two of our established concepts.
The ideal candidate understands and appreciates the effort and nuance of seasonal operations and living.
The ideal candidate will support food and beverage operations and look to be a part of and add value to team continuity in the service of our guests.
For management positions we generally offer room and board provided as a part of the compensation package.
For management positions we offer competitive wages, we provide Lodging and Meals and a Season-ending bonus! Positions generally run from May 1 to October 25th. Permanent positions and growth opportunities are available to those who earn them with WR Hospitality or our partner company Regency Hotel Managment at season end. We are South Dakota’s largest Hotel and Restaurant network.
One can bring a personal vehicle but it is not necessary.
We can also pick up any new employees in Rapid City which is 38 miles away.
Rapid City can be reached by bus and several airlines.
The main activities are sight-seeing with Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial, The Badlands National Park, Devils Tower, Spearfish Canyon, Historic Hill City, Historic Deadwood, Wooly Mammoth Site at Hot Springs.
Touring the wildlife loop and other park venues to see the Buffalo herd, Elk, Deer, Mountain Goats, Big Horn Sheep, Antelope and wild Burros is a fun and must thing to do. Often the Buffalo herd will come to you as we have the nation's largest free-roaming herd.
Other mountain and mountain lake activities such as hiking, climbing, biking, canoe or kayaking, and fly fishing are also in high demand.
