    Job Summary:
    Responsible for the daily compiling and reporting of all lodging, food and beverage, retail and transportation revenues and receipts generated daily at the Glacier National Park Lodges.

    Responsibilities

    • Follow all policy, procedures and service standards.
    • Support the lodging department to provide reporting details.
    • Balance all revenue charges for the day to ensure accuracy; post charges and adjustments if needed.
    • Daily tracking of cash over and short and credit card variances.
    • Research of daily balance variances and adjust accordingly.
    • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations as appropriate.
    • Run and export out daily flash reports.
    • Frequent electronic filing duties.
    • Email correspondence.
    • This scope of this job tends to be repetitive and time-consuming, requiring highly detailed work.
    • Problem-solving and troubleshooting during system malfunctions.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Relies heavily on knowledge of our systems, including Opera, Simphony, and Mi9 (retail). Must be computer savvy and proficient with Microsoft Excel.
    • Ability to work independently.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to use a 10-key.
    • Prior audit or accounting experience highly preferred.
    • Ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner with a broad cross-section of fellow staff. Represent the accounting department in a positive light.

    Education:

    • Associates Degree in Accounting related field, or equivalent experience.

    Work Environment:

    • Based in our home office in Columbia Falls, MT. There may be occasional times where business need requires this position to travel into Glacier National Park. Work schedule is primarily Monday-Friday during normal office hours.

    Physical Requirements include:

    • Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time.
    • During site visits, some locations require climbing multiple staircases, up to four flights of stairs.
    • Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
    • Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds occasionally.

    Responsibilities

    Oversight of daily Warehouse operations, including:

      • Timely completion of assigned paperwork and computer processes associated with the receiving and distribution of product in our retail system.
      • Maintaining an awareness and organization of incoming product on the processing floor.
      • Takes the lead on the receiving of deliveries which may or may not require operating forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, hand trucks, and/or moving goods by hand.
      • Supervise and develop warehouse personnel utilizing Xanterra’s standards for employee documentation and HIGs; discuss concerns as required.
      • Maintain standards of cleanliness, security and organization throughout the warehouse.
    • Responsible for the supervision of Warehouse staff and truck drivers.
    • Able to plan and distribute work assignments to accomplish daily goals.
    • Participate in and/or lead regularly scheduled staff meetings.
    • Assist the Warehouse Manager with returns and credits, FoodTrak management, and the ability to support other departments with their warehouse needs.
    • Ensure a safe work area and that all equipment is in safe working order while acting as the distribution center safety representative.
    • Comply with Xanterra’s Environmental Management Systems (Ecologix) and look for ways to improve the impact your job has on the environment.
    • Prepare warehouse for winter including final inventory and warm storage for all departments needing warehouse assistance.
    • Assist with store openings/closings and inventories as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Must have a thorough understanding of, and takes a proactive learning approach to our retail point of sale system; and an understanding of department operations and provide guidance to staff.
    • Must possess a valid driver license and clean driving record, meet all DOT physical requirements, be able to pass pre-employment drug screening with random tests throughout the season, and be able to drive the warehouse trucks and company vehicles as needed.
    • Ability to supervise, lead and direct the warehouse clerks, computer clerks and drivers to ensure efficient and accurate warehouse operation.
    • In the event that the Manager is out, the Assistant Manager will take on his/her responsibilities; and will be required to work weekends and work overtime as needed.

    Physical Requirements include:

    • Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
    • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
    • Must be able to bend, kneel, crawl, stretch, push, and reach for extended periods of time.

    Responsibilities

    • Operate equipment in a safe and proper operation all weather conditions.
    • Maintain professionalism while working outdoors in extreme weather and during vehicle break-downs.
    • Provide a knowledgeable, interpretive commentary of Park features and history.
    • Lead guided walks up to a mile or longer in length.
    • Assist passengers in and out of buses.
    • Complete all required reports in a prompt and accurate manner.
    • Responsible for a clean and neat appearance in the prescribed uniform.
    • Responsible for cleaning, fueling and ensuring vehicle is safe before and after each shift.
    • Must accurately complete all daily DOT paperwork and reports each shift and file them according to policy.

    Qualifications

    • Must be knowledgeable and courteous in giving interpretive commentary of Park features and history; and have strong reading and comprehensive skills to research tour information.
    • Must have the ability to communicate effectively, through oral presentation, an accurate and informative narrative of the park.
    • Must practice courteous guest service while keeping tours on a time schedule, and remaining punctual.
    • This position may drive up to 10 hours driving (12 hours total work) on various types of road conditions.

    Physical Requirements include:

    • Previous driving experience NOT required! Training is provided.
    • Drivers must be at least 21 years of age.
    • Ability to obtain a valid U.S. CDL Driver's License, training is provided.
    • Must meet all DOT physical requirements and pass a DOT physical exam including a pre-employment drug screen and federally required random screens throughout the season, and comply with the Xanterra Driver Safety Program and Policy.
    • Ability to walk up to a mile several times each day at elevations ranging from 3,500 feet to 6,700 feet above sea level.
    • Simultaneously steer a vehicle, shift its transmission, operate accelerator and brake pedals, and give commentary while driving in heavy traffic and in all weather conditions.
    • Ability to bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lbs. simultaneously and repeatedly.
    • Ability to roll the canvas bus top back and forth without assistance.
    • Withstand up to 10 hours of consecutive driving on rough and/or icy roads.
    • Ability to work outdoors in variable weather (including rain, sleet, snow, direct sunlight, high winds, and temperatures ranging from 0 to +100 degrees Fahrenheit).

    Responsibilities

    • Work with engineering team to complete projects as assigned, working through assignments and assuring clarity of communication and completing projects with exceptional attention to detail and quality of finish.

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Minimum 3 years Remodel Carpentry experience required.
    • Preferred to have job shop or cabinetry shop experience.
    • Ideally some experience in Finish Carpentry and/or Punchlist carpentry.
    • Must possess a current and valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
    • Ability to obtain DOT license, EPA RRP Lead Certification.
    • Our candidate must have the ability to read, write, and follow instructions.

    Work Environment:

    • Inside and outside buildings across Glacier National Park & Xanterra Managed properties

    Physical Requirements include:

    • Must be able to walk distances over uneven terrain, climb stairs and ladders in all types of weather conditions.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintain and enforce established Xanterra standards of sanitation throughout the BOH operations.

    Job Summary:

    Supports the Location Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring departmental standards are met, and fostering a positive work environment for employees. This role involves managing employee housing, addressing guest complaints, and collaborating with various departments to enhance both employee and guest experiences while maintaining safety and compliance with company policies.

    The Details:
    Position Type: Seasonal
    Season Dates: late-April through mid-October 2025 (exact dates vary by location)
    Pay: Starting at $1,880.00 bi-weekly
    Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

    Responsibilities

    • Act as the Location Manager in their absence.
    • Work with department managers and directors to ensure departmental standards are frequently monitored and are met or exceeded, and a commitment to excellent employee performance is instilled.
    • Ensure Xanterra standards and policies are executed across all departments in a consistent manner.
    • Oversee all off duty employee personnel issues and opportunities including employee housing, organization of employee recognition, events and outings.
    • Greet new staff and give short tour of the housing area, rules, and regulations.
    • Take a lead role in creating events, and promoting the employee recreation opportunities at the property.
    • Assist in overseeing the employee housing dorm cleaners to ensure standards are maintained in employee housing as well conduct weekly employee housing inspections.
    • Work closely with Human Resources and departmental managers to ensure employee experience expectations are met. Including housing, recreation, safety, and performance.
    • Ensure that all employee complaints, regardless of the issue, are turned over to the Human Resources Department immediately. Lead and/or participate in investigations as needed.
    • Respond positively and empathetically to all guest complaints with the objective of solving the problem to the satisfaction of both the guest and the Company prior to the departure of the guest.
    • Review guest survey feedback and follow up as necessary.
    • Participate in the weekly location department Manager Meeting.
    • Assist in the immediate follow-up of all deficiencies noted on National Park Service Evaluations working with maintenance and other department managers/directors.
    • Ensure that proper lost and found procedures are followed by all personnel at the location.
    • Continuously evaluate safety concerns throughout all departments, and inside and outside housing buildings. Work with Safety and Security leads on property to instill a safety oriented culture.
    • Maintain a daily manager’s log of all events taking place on location. Entries into the manager’s log are to be professional and represent an objective view of all employee and guest issues that have taken place during the course of the operating season.
    • Enforce all Company policies and procedures as determined by Xanterra Parks and Resorts.
    • Any other duties as assigned by the Location Manager or General Manager.
    • Possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License and comply with Xanterra Driver Safety Program and Policy.

    Qualifications

    • Must possess outstanding leadership skills.
    • Ability to demonstrate excellent organization, time management, must be goal oriented, and have strong interpersonal communication skills.
    • Must be flexible and adaptable to dynamic situations and have good decision making and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to deescalate high pressure situations in regards to guest’s visits and employee life.
    • Ability to create a welcoming and engaging environment for our on-property seasonal employees. This includes creating a variety of events and programs throughout the summer. Employee engagement and guest satisfaction is crucial to ensure a successful summer in Glacier National Park.

    Physical Requirements include:

    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
    • Stand and/or walk up to eight hours per shift.
    • Requires bending, kneeling, stretching and reaching throughout a shift.
    • Must be able to climb stairs.
    • Must be able to walk on uneven terrain, including icy and snow covered areas.
    • Working safely with required chemicals.
    • Disposition suitable for extensive public contact.
